If I can give 0 star, I would. I clearly communicated to Abi, the store manager, that I currently had service with T-Mobile and all I want is a free iPhone and paying not more than my T-Mobile monthly bill. Not only did I not get a free iphone but my promotion was not even the best deal at the time, it was 600 only when they had 1000 promo available. I was willing to trade in my old phone but he said no need and can give me a free new phone. Additionally, we were given an iPad without explaining that it wasn’t free and that there were monthly payments and charges for having it. Very poor communication skills. Absolutely no conversation was had with the store manager regarding the finances of the iPad.
We went to the Stamford Verizon corporate store to have them fix the phone promotion. When we mentioned we had a horrible experience with a Verizon franchise in Stamford, they immediately guessed the location we had been going to, as many customers of Hope Street go to the corporate office with similar complaints of “Hope St”’s notorious sales fraudulent tactics. I would not recommend to anyone to go to Verizon Hope Street. After reading many of the complaints on this location, I can see I’m not alone as many of my complaints have occurred with other customers.

Really nice store, Alex was really helpful and I traded in my iPhone XR for the new iPhone 16 pro max in this store, clean and really nice store in Stamford.

Be careful with this place. I came in for a promotional deal to get a free phone and they don't tell me my phone isn't accepted in the promotion and act like it is. Then the following month I see I owe $800 on a phone that's supposed to be free.
