Love the stuff from this place but the employees are god awful, im so happy when its one doing there job but I usually just get some annoying woman who won't get off her phone or some bald guy who doesn't know a simple amount of respect and does his job with his eyes red like he doesn't want to be there anymore

Poorly maintained, short staffed, and very disorganized store full of employees with little to no costumer service skills to the point where just asking for help from them feels like an inconvenience for them

The attention is horrible, the pharmacist Daniel is supposedly the professional and does not know how to provide very rough care and does not want to explain how one has to use the
medically, they should hire professional people with good customer service

I was given 2 days of antibiotics refill and then received a message that remainder of refill was ready. I went to the Stamford Walgreens on 680 E. Main St pharmacy counter on 8/31/24 and it was closed. There was a note stating that the pharmacy would reopen 9/3/24. From 8/31/24 to 8/1/24 I checked on Google, Walgreens website and Walgreen Pharmacy chat and received conflicting info on which Walgreens Pgarmacy was open. It turned out that the closest Walgreens pharmacy open was in Fairfield, CT.
Walmart pharmacy was open, however, I would have to have the Walmart pharmacist contact the open Walgreens pharmacy to transfer the prescription.
I wasn't able to get the remainder of my antibiotics on 9/1/24.

Their system accepts and confirms appointments for Saturdays, and even sends reminders, yet the Healthcare Clinic inside isn't open at all on Saturdays. Neither is the photo department for government-approved photos, despite what the website says regarding hours and walk-ins.

I will give Zero if I could. Employers don't pay attention
They do refill without my authorization and trying charge me out of pocket. $2300 Lo!! Very poor performance pharmacy ever seen. They also send me to different pharmacy to pick up my prescription. Under performing location need to close down. Close this location !!!

This pharmacy is out of control, I just walked in there and they are closed it is 2 pm ! They never have enough people and they tend to close early way too often due to no pharmacist, without prior notice... For people who need their medications this is an enormous inconvenience... I will be calling headquarters and I recommend you find a more reliable pharmacy, I will be doing so ...

Pharmacy is horrendous! My elderly mother came out very upset 😡. Not only was the staff rude and unprofessional, but they recommended she travel 20-miles away to another store because they failed to fill her prescription even after Walgreens texted her the day before to say it was ready for pickup. Mind you, there are several Walgreens locations between here and Bridgeport. I recommended she contact her physician and transfer CVS. This location is highly-unrecommended!!!👎🏾

This Walgreens is the worst Walgreens in the entire planet. They made me sit in the drive-through for 25 minutes without even saying that they’ll be with me in a moment finally upon being taken care of 40 minutes later they didn’t have my product they sent me to another Walgreens, which also didn’t have my product and they said it did. The Walgreens in Darien took care of it. They found who actually did have my product and sent me there the next morning. Never if you value your life go to the Walgreens on Main Street in Stamford. They’re unkind incompetent and don’t deserve to be open.

THEY ARE RACIST HERE!!!! I’ve been coming here for 4 years and recently they hired a few Spanish kids. They are fairly new ish. I come with my grandma and they follow just us around the store and profile us. When we get to the register they ask if my grandmother has any items in her purse …after following us. I have never stolen from this place so I don’t know why this was even happening. Ps I am African American. My poor grandma didn’t deserve that. I’d file a complaint there but those kids will probably still work there

The pharmacy opens late, closes early, they never have my prescription ready or it’s out of stock and I have to keep going back. The staff is not friendly and never seems like anyone knows what they are doing.

I've been a customer at this location for 7+yrs and has seen the downfall of its quality, recently I've seen changes in management and employees around the clock and it seems to get no better, to be honest there are 3 employees that I look forward to seeing at every visit, Efrain, Christopher and Liakiea, in which are all extremely helpful and down to earth friendly, they even help carry some of my heavy items to the front since there is never a shopping cart or rolling basket in the entire building, ridiculous, and please update their systems, these cashiers take a lot of grief from customers who are not aware of that problem, and I'm not sure when the newest manager, I think her name is Betsey came in, but maybe you should of given 1 of the 3 listed above a chance at that position, since they are the only thing this location has going for itself, the reviews say it all.. Walgreens Eastman St. Stamford PLEASE get it together before CVS takes your customers due to the simplest things that make the biggest difference in our shopping experience.. Thank you kindly, coming from a loyal but frustrated customer...
