I genuinely have a strong dislike for this location. Despite a year passing, the treatment hasn't improved. I only visited to deposit my check, as it's closer than going to the town over. Unlike my hometown branch, they hold onto the deposit for 24 hours, citing policy. I can't help but feel they treat customers differently based on stereotypes.

Went there last week to open an additional account to my business account. They didn’t know what it needs to be done, and at the end refused opening it because they don’t know what documentation is needed. They asked that i have to wait a few days/ week until they make sure that documents presented are enough. However that’s a active business, and i use this account daily.Very disappointed by consultation provided by this branch.

I've been a WF customer for 15 to 20 years. I've lost track. I needed a simple notarization of a foreign passport application for my child - who is also a WF customer! The agent refused to notarize it for us because it was "not in English". The application had English translations under each line! I reiterated this to her and she checked with a supervisor who also said they could not notarize it. So we went to a UPS STORE who gladly notarized it. Had the same issue a few days earlier at my local WF branch, they said no, couldn't notarize my wife's document for me because she wasn't a customer, went to my Chase bank where they notarized it with zero problems. Why? I have put probably well over $100k in mortgage interest payments in WF, and it's not just "it's policy" - it's the lack of courtesy. Dreadful.

Terrible bank. Terrible people that work in the bank. Whoever the blonde lady is needs to rethink her life choices. It would also make sense if you guys stopped wasting paper on people who use the bank parking for the gym, when the bank is CLOSED!

I came into open accounts and was not given the opportunity to explain the types of accounts I wanted. Instead the woman I had an appointment with after being 15 minutes late was only able to pull up the website and read from it. She couldn’t give recommendations if I told her the types of checking and savings I would be moving from. She interrupted the conversation approximately 15-20 times to tell me what she would not have time for that day and why. She told me I would have to come back another day to complete things. She continuously told me “I cannot speak for any other banks” if I explained the very basic type of accounts I had which I had with me. She had to call into someone to ask about the fees to tell me. She told me she did not know what a line of credit was with the excuse of she cannot speak for another bank. I came in with everything in hand to open accounts for my 4pm appointment and explained that it was very hard for me to get there that day and that it was a time sensitive matter. She originally told me she had until 5, but then told me at 4:45 she could not open anything for me and had to take another appointment. When I asked for her to at least repeat the names of the 2 accounts we discussed I would open, she told me “I cannot tell you what to do”. After completely wasting my time going in and coming out less knowledgeable than I was when I went in I decided to take my business elsewhere. Choose another branch. Don’t waste your time like I did.

I can't say enough about the staff at Wells on 6th Street. Everyone is helpful, friendly and will help you through any transaction or question. I usually interact with Lashanda who is amazing! She goes above and beyond to make our experience a great one!

Great company but horrible location overall employees have the mind set they don't want to be there they are rude!!! Bankers dont want to help all they do is sit in themeanwhilw a line of people sitting down waiting

I needed a personal loan, and Nikhar guided me for the loan application. When the loan was approved, she did the closing for me. She is familiar with the procedure and acts professionally. My experience for this loan application was great.

Horrible location & rude staff. Don’t waste your time and just go to the Bank of America on high ridge instead. The people who work here are miserable and it shows. I even witnessed one of the workers yell at a customer who tried parking there.

Horrible experience at the Ridgeway center and the sales Rep & Manager was very Nasty..I will never ever enter that branch again..Nikhar Narula..And the Business that I needed happened at another branch..How dare you to make a comment of our Experience, Another Manager Ok my License that you couldn't read and I'm hoping that Corporate see this post..

Best branch in Stamford, staff is nice, helpful and knowledgeable. They make you feel like part of the team. It shows that they like helping customers.
