There are even Care Bears and the widest selection of Mr. Potato Heads I have ever seen. If you're a child of the 80s or 90s, this place will knock your socks off!”

“We dropped in on a Saturday in November and were delighted to witness glass-blowing first hand! Jeffrey and his co-workers took the time to explain the process to us and to answer our questions, even though we are from abroad. Our kids (5 and 7) were struck with awe. “My fiancée and I stumbled into this place during a weekend trip and we were amazed by the extensive collections (me by the anatomy prints and my fiancée the maps). We both ended up treating ourselves to some art that just arrived in the mail and we are both blown away. Super recommend!”

“I, like many locals and visitors alike, love this shop! It definitely has a wide assortment of very creative, made in the USA items. That is one of the big draws for me. I gave it five stars because of the kind owner and the eclectic shop. But, to be honest, I would give it four stars due to one employee that does not seem to enjoy her job.This experience is based on two other occasions when I’ve been shopping while she’s been working.The off putting, rub you the wrong way attitude, is not appreciated.If I had to guess about the incident that happened with an another reviewer, my guess would be this was the same employee.I really do enjoy shopping here because of its unique and beautiful items. But, in the future, I will call ahead in hopes that the lovely woman (Marilyn) whom I recently met, will be working instead. Insuring a more pleasant shopping experience.Thank you again for the, made in the USA!”

“My friend Sherry mentioned this gallery, improbably located at the Amtrak station located just outside downtown Westerly. I was skeptical but as I had a couple of hours to kill before an event at the United Theater I had nothing to lose by stopping in. I was shocked, shocked I tell you, to discover what a find this gallery was. I love art, museums, and galleries, and this was well worth my time. There are several rooms of art ranging from jewelry to glassware, pottery, prints, paintings and more. I had no intention of buying anything and I was tempted by the paintings, most of which were in my price range, but succumbed to a gorgeous bracelet, a charming bowl, and a set of wine glasses (all shown below). The person at the front desk greeted me but then let me roam to my heart's content. When I checked out she explained that the gallery rotated its items on a monthly basis (I think that's what she said). I spent an hour there appreciating every one of the items on display; the prices varied so you are sure to find something there at your price point. There was also a special small exhibit featuring African American artists, which I very much appreciated as an African-American myself. This gallery is a hidden gem. One more reason for me to return to the town of Westerly soon, and I am sure not to leave empty-handed!”

“I have known of this lovely framing/gallery shop for most of my life. I finally had the opportunity to use their services. I decided to upcycle some beautiful old frames and move some art & photos into some lovely frames that my mom already had. I called the owner Donna, she was quite lovely and suggested that I come in at 10 the next day. I needed the frames done quickly, Donna told me that she could get them done within 24 hours. Seeing that Donna had a great eye, I let her choose the mats and she completed everything quickly and beautifully! I'm so grateful for her prompt and beautiful service. I highly recommend working with Donna!”

“J Russell Jinishian's Gallery is absolutely incredible. There are other nautical galleries scattered around various ports, but this is the best that I know of in all the world. Mr. Jinishian's knowledge and experience with nautical art is incredible, he is very friendly, and I am glad that he stayed around after moving out from the Post Rd gallery to the one here in Greenfield Hill. It is an additional treat when one of his featured artists are around. This place glows with the love for the sea...”
