My roommate and my service dog and I stayed here for about two weeks and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the Mystic area. It's clean and the staff is very personable and nice. The price is very reasonable as well. I am definitely going to stay there again.

Overpriced for the quality. Danky, run down room similar to NH/VT ski motels.
TV didn't work.
The AC fan was banging on something inside the unit as it was on....all night long. Sleepless night really.
My wife literally slept with my pocket knife at her night stand. I think it was perfectly safe, but she clearly felt otherwise.
It's a 99.00 room, not 350...

Hotel holy hell. No way I would ever stay here. I came here to park for a second to eat some really good bbq from down the street in historic mystic river because I thought it was abandoned. Went inside to pee. Bro...
Disgusting bathroom inside a smelly closed pool.
Room Hallway looked like a scary movie.
Just run.
On the plus side,
There's free coffee and one flavor of juice.
Run.

Very close to mystic village, convenient. At first we passed by the lot because it looks abandoned. Found the lobby to be bright and welcoming with the seating area. Front desk was busy with phone calls and other customers but remained friendly to everyone. 1 lady was checking out in a hurry seemingly upset Red flag 1. Red flag 2 a room had a clogged sink and red flag 3 another room wouldnt let him swipe into the room. Got a room and feont desk said to park in the back lot. Very dimly lit to no light outside. Outside locks to the doors do not work, had to be let in by someone who just so happened to be in halls. Our room was on floor 2 went up 2 flights of stairs with 4 bags. No elevators from what we saw. Rooms are non smoking. Our room 292 was ready with the heat on. Toilet has some funky cloudy water. Found some pennies in the dresser drawer (when was it last cleaned? Makes you wonder) Electrical socket yanked oit of the wall exposed wires.. firehazard. All in all... outdated, needs some updating. Is not worth the price whatever they offer. Was a last minute booking when everyone else was full up to 10 minutes away.
Rooms: Outdated
Safety: Little to no light outside
No elevators
Food & drinks: Theres a dunkin next door i guess

Very affordable and clean choice. It also has a good view. Staff are friendly. Very good choice for a short term stay.

We are at the hotel now. It appears the bathroom in the first room we were in was not cleaned. The bathtub was dirty, there was hair in the sink, and tissue on the floor. Edit: We switched rooms, and the second room was cleaner but not clean. The picture of the hotel looks better than the hotel actually looks. The hotel looks abandoned. There is an entrance to go in that was closest to our room. The door is supposed to be locked 24/7. There is no key swipe, and you could walk right in. They do not have people at the front desk 24/7. The hotel is not secure. We arrived 9/6/3024 and checked out today, 9/8/2024. We lost power. This morning, when I went to return my key, there was nobody at the front desk. I called the number listed at the front desk to let them know that we lost power, and the person sounded like she was actually sleeping when I called. Also, he would think they would have a generator, but the power did not come back before we left the hotel.
Rooms: The rooms are dirty.
Safety: I did not feel safe.

It is an older hotel that could use demolition and rebuilding.

Nice place, could use some exterior work. I would love to help with the appearance of your establishment overall.

Worst hotel I’ve been for decades. Dirty, ugly, everything broken, slow thinking staff. Stay away

We stayed here a few years ago and it was not this bad. Unfortunately we went to check in on July 5th 2024. I did not go past the desk. The lobby roof was leaking into buckets on the floor (even though it was hot and sunny outside). Then there was a sign on the desk saying the pool was closed (not listed online saying this but does list it has an indoor heated pool). The lobby smelled like it had been damp and musty for a while. The guy at the desk said he would cancel our reservation because of the accommodations and gave me the managers number to contact him. I went outside and contacted the booking site and explained the situation. I found another place to stay which cost about $130 more for the 2 nights but was definitely worth it. I went in and canceled the reservation at that point. Over the next few days I searched online and found reviews from over a year ago stating the lobby roof leaking and musty smell, mice in rooms, and now more about the pool being closed.
Obviously the owners do not care about repairing the place or for the peoples health that stay there.
Do not reserve this place and stay FAR AWAY !!! They are running some kind of scam with people canceling reservations when they get there and see the conditions, but not refunding their money. This place should be condemned and torn down.
I wish I could put negative stars for this.
I have contacted BBB and BOH over this place !!!

The pictures on here look nice but in person, the place looks like a dump. I walked in here and there was a paper up at the front desk saying that the pool was closed. I asked why, if the website and pictures show a working pool, we weren't informed that the pool is out of commission. I was informed by the manager that the website didn't advertise that the pool was in working condition. I immediately cancelled my reservation but they still charged me for the first night.

Hotel looked like it was abandoned. Wasn't bad in lobby. Room was fine but the cleanliness wasn't good hair tub the amount of dust everywhere gross. The toilet hadn't been cleaned in a while the back of it the sides nasty. Had a musty smell. I complained but nothing was done so apparently they don't care. Wouldn't stay here again. Look at their reviews

Ok, here's the low down. I bet back in the day this place was awesome. However, in 2024, it is in rough shape. Driving on to the property, it looked abandoned and unsafe. There are many high-end places down the road if you want to be bourgeois, but if you are going to mystic and the casinos, why spend more money to stay the night. As far as it being unsafe-it was totally safe. Think about it-Who is going to bother robbing this place that looks abandoned with people staying/paying only 180 a night when you can go down the road to the high end places with money.
Positives: the location is great, close to mystic and the casinos, room was clean and basic, ice machine, Dunks is a 2 minute walk.
Negatives: it looks abandoned, no water in the pool, limited snacks, and no breakfast.
