Yes, it’s true. This WALGREENS could use a facelift and it does smell a little bit like mold.. ( NOT GOOD) Although I will say the pharmacy staff is incredible. They’re very helpful and they’re very kind and I’ve had many shots there and they’ve done an extra ordinary job.!! They truly do care !
We will continue to use this Walgreens!

It’s not common for me to write a review of an establishment but I felt it was necessary to share my thoughts, opinions and experiences regarding the pharmacy and store. Most of the negative reviews that were written previously were either unnecessary or not deserving of such a low rating. This is where I get my prescriptions filled and have been for almost two years. The medication I am prescribed is very popular so getting it filled fully doesn’t always happen on the day of refill. The pharmacists are accommodating to all of their patients/customers and will provide a partial refill so that everyone is able to get what they need for a few days and then they will provide the remaining amount within a day or two. Their thoughtfulness and understanding is much appreciated and is something I feel should be recognized and shared. They have always been very helpful, kind and respectful when needed and go above and beyond to make their patients/customers happy.

The best pharmacy staff in the US. And I’ve lived in NYC, Cali, OR, NM (2nd), Upstate NY (totally different), CT, RI…forgetting 2..CO and TX.

I called the pharmacy for 2 weeks trying to get my medication they told me I couldn't get it until middle of the month I have it transferred to a different pharmacy and they fill it that it could have been a week ago but the pharmacist did not know what they were doing

Who even goes here anymore, Thee worst customer service. This place looks like a broken down grocery store. So I drove 1 hour to pick up my mother prescription to drop off to her where she lives locally in Pawcatuck. I asked to use the bathroom because I just drove a long distance and needed to go. As I entered I asked 2 employees about a bathroom and they both smirked and said, “No, we don’t have one for paying customers, you can use Christo’s”. Christo’s is a pizza spot next door that has friendly people and allowed me to use the bathroom. Thank god for Christo’s! I even bought a bag of chips for a snack and I tipped the waitress. After that my mother has changed her Walgreens pharmacy to the one in Mystic. Would not recommend this place at all, gross.

We stopped here for a few items after visiting Mystic including the awesome Mystic Seaport. It looks like a neat and well organized Walgreens, and were able to find our sundry items without difficulty. The aisles are wide and well marked and the store looks newer or at least updated.When we checked out at the register I asked to use their restroom. But they said they were out of order. They suggested I go next door to Dunkin Donuts. Candidly, that's just unacceptable. They didn't elaborate why, they were out of order, but they should have a sign outside on their door stating that. We tend to use CVS more than Walgreen's though both are typically fine. They are the two largest drug store chains in the U.S.

I have my prescriptions filled here..Helpfulness of counter pharmacy staff between 1 low and 5 high it’s a three at best.Tonight I picked up a prescription. The price for exactly the same milligrams and type of medication had tripled. I asked what the name of the meds were. “ An antibiotic”Uh, well would you please tell me the name of the product. The name she gave was for a completely different med than I had taken before. I thought that accounted for the price difference. When I got home the medicine was exactly the same as before not different, the dosage exactly the same. The pill number went from 10 to 20.I called and spoke to the pharmacist and asked why the price for 2x more meds had tripled.Oh not our fault call the insurance company. Why was I told it was a compliantly different med... oh maybe you didn’t hear it clearly!No answer, no responsibility no ownership.no trust from me.

I used to go to the Walmart in Groton and it was very convenient. This Walgreen's in Pawcatuck is terrible! They cant stock anything, constantly out of Milk or garbage bags among some of the items. The hours are horrible and most of the people working the register are clueless or rude. Not impressed at all.

I was almost a daily customer until an employee was very rude and condescending to me. It was after 7am and they made me leave the store without completing my purchase. Never again. They need better management.
