Great atmosphere and amazing seafood. Perfectly cooked and seasoned menu choices. Would definitely recommend for seafood!

The menu has a wide variety of items. We started with local oysters that were very good. Then, I had a salad with seared scallops on top (excellent choice) and my wife had clams with linguini (also excellent). I loved the Fuzzy Baby Ducks IPA which was local (CT) and the staff is friendly.

First of all, and if you've been to Mystic, this is super important - they have a HUGE parking lot, so no need to struggle in town for a parking spot, yay! The location is beautiful, right on the river, direct waterfront property with a terrific outdoor patio - but every table inside is able to take advantage of the view to one degree or another. Also a part of the view is the railroad bridge, very fun to watch the trains and watch the bridge swing around. Great vibe in here, lots of energy. We enjoyed watching the oyster shucking guy, he never stopped! Service was very friendly and helpful as well as patient with one in our party who has some food peculiarities. The grilled scallop dish with the truffle risotto, very special. Loved the fish taco, a mix of perfectly cooked salmon and I believe cod.....possibly haddock.....excellent! Ditto for the ribeye steak special, high quality and perfectly cooked. We will be back!

We walked here from the other side of the river and it was worth the time spent. The place is busy and the food was awesome. We had great service and everything came as ordered.

Wife and I were in town for the weekend and wanted to try some seafood. After looking at the menu, we decided to stop by. We were seated right and greeted right away. The food was good and service was great. I have a couple of issues tho.... $23.00 for a"bucket" of belly clams ? Maybe 2 or 3 ounces? Charging full price for a refill on soda!? This is something I can't forgive. It only costs pennies to fill a 12-oz glass of soda. Is this really how the restaurant is making its profit? I had the Seafood Paella, and my wife had Fish and Chips. I may or may not stop here again.

What a disappointment. We had chosen Mystic as midway between Cape Cod where we live and NYC from where old friends from Asia were being driven. We knew the no reservation policy so arrived early to snag a table. Absolute implaccable refusal to seat a “partial party” . Total brick wall. Even at 11.45 it was filling up and we thought a table unlikely. Crossed the river to the Daniel Packer and a much more friendly reception

Our group had booked a private dining area on the second floor for 10+ people. However, due to some last minute issues on our end, only 3 of us could make it. No problem, we had committed to paying for 10+ people, so we honoured our commitment to pay for the original group size. But from the restaurant perspective, there was no offer to mix-up the fixed set menu for the three of us, even though we were paying for 10+ and really only eating for 3. Food-wise, the set menu was average. Apps were OK - flatbreads were a bit disappointing, what you might find at a bowling alley party. Mains were OK - scallops were tasty and fresh, and served with risotto done well. Overall, probably not the place we'd choose for a group meal again. Hospitality a bit lacking despite the $1500+ spend, and the food we ate, was relatively mediocre.

Mediocre food. Great view if you sit outside. Dirty table. So so wait staff. Easy parking. Oysters enjoyable. Very short pour on wine by glass.

We celebrated our 2-year anniversary, and our server Rebecca was very helpful and quick with our food orders. I would recommend the hot and buttery lobster roll, crab dip, and Mexican salad. Great selection of fresh seafood and drinks! Make a reservation since this place get packed quickly.

Excellent food, excellent service (ask for Rebecca if you can. She was great!) This place is a little out of the way, you almost feel like there can't possibly be a restaurant here as you're driving thru the boatyard, but I'm so glad we didn't turn around. Follow the directions. You'll be glad you did. Will be back next time we're in town.

Had a nice lunch with pretty view right on the water. They do not take reservations and it gets pretty crowded. Fried oyster appetizer was out of this world. Lobster rolls were just ok. We’ve been here multiple times and I am sure will be back.

Great place to have lunch. The wait staff was wonderful, the appetizers were great, especially the crab cake! Didn't actually eat lunch , but there were great options. I was with a group of 10, and the price was reasonable. I do recommend it!

In the past, I have had lovely meals in this fun setting. Last night was appalling service in a filthy restaurant. We were first seated at a table near an opening to a porch and it was freezing and the table slimy. Next, they moved us upstairs to a table in a nook with no light. The table was covered in muck as were the menus we were handed. Then we proceeded to wait and wait. The serve staff was very busy. Finally we grabbed someone to get our waiter. When he showed up, he tried to make up for us having been ignored with obsequious sucking up. The food arrived quickly and was clearly not freshly cooked but nuked in a microwave.
