We had a fantastic experience with this storage facility. I was impressed by how clean, well-maintained, and well-lit the entire place was. It immediately gave me peace of mind knowing my belongings were in a safe and secure environment.
We rented one of the 10x10 climate-controlled units—perfect for storing sensitive items like electronics, documents, or furniture without worrying about heat or humidity. The temperature inside always felt stable and comfortable.
Additionally, keypad access gave an added layer of security and protection. The staff was nothing but friendly, helpful, and professional, always available to answer questions or assist with any needs.
Overall, this facility is extremely well run, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, secure, and clean storage environment. Definitely worth the investment!

So far so good. Hoping the purposed rate increases are truthful. Last place arbitrarily raised prices...a LOT. So I am hopeful. CJ has been fantastic!

Working with management has been great. First time leasing storage, they made is very easy with their professionalism. The facilities are secure, clean and the grounds well maintained.

We've just cleared out our final of THREE storage units. Stuff in all of them for over a year, with frequent visits as necessary. CJ was always responsive and helpful; the facility was always clean; everything always worked. Spotless and safe. Why go anywhere else when the fees are so reasonable and everything is so well taken care of? Can't think of a reason.

I would like to echo my wife’s comments on an entirely different unit in the same facility. We have always felt safe going there during any of the generous open hours day or night. We have a lot of heavy stuff and the dollies proved sturdy and manoeuverable. If you have possessions that mean a lot to you or are valuable in some monetary way, you will find no better or more secure and convenient place than The Storage Place.

We had a terrific storage rental experience at Storage Place in Stonington. CJ, the manager is phenomenal! He is attentive, professional, friendly, and helpful. The units are clean, have carts to use, great hours of availability/operation and the rates are certainly reasonable.
