While I love what is offered at big Y, including some products, I can’t find elsewhere, and the pizza, counter and bakery, I have been appalled by their produce lately. I come here, knowing the price is higher than other grocery stores. I could not find a single avocado that wasn’t rotted to complete mush this weekend, Other than the two that I was able to bring home with me just to get home and open them up and find them to be totally brown and rotted. I couldn’t find a single box of strawberries, or blueberries while they were there in abundance, everything there was moldy. I don’t know if this is New or related to deliveries, but I was very disappointed

This location is almost back to being as great as it was when it first opened. The transformation after "JF" was replaced as store director is pretty dramatic. I've also noticed that their everyday "regular" prices are often lower than Shoprite.

The staff in stratford is awesome. I go so often they know me by name. They make me feel like a valued customer.

There was nothing special about this supermarket which would cause it to stand out from all the other markets I've been to. It is a place to buy food, and nothing more.It is not the worst chain in the region (I'm looking at you Stop & Slop), but it is far from the best. I would rather drive half an hour to the nearest Wegmans than five minutes to here.The registers are woefully understaffed, and the company seems to care more about image than actually serving their customers.All in all, it was just a step above mediocre.

Big Y is just another super market like all the rest. But I wanted to call out the excellent service I got at the deli counter tonight. Jerrica was great! Quick, easy to talk to , friendly! Made shopping a little easier!

Shop there often. All Big Y stores are spotless. The store is always very organized. The sales are good.
