If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. This shop completely took advantage of me when I was a young girl who knew nothing about cars.
I originally brought my car here because I was hearing a strange, loud airhorn-like sound coming from my front right tire. My mom happened to know someone who worked there, so I figured it would be a trustworthy place to bring my car. That assumption could not have been more wrong.
After leaving my car there, I got a call saying they couldn’t figure out what was causing the noise, but suddenly I was told that my car was “undriveable” because of the brakes. I was young, maybe 16 or 17, and terrified to be told by a mechanic that my car wasn’t safe. They insisted that all of my brakes needed to be replaced immediately. When I said I couldn’t afford that, they pressured me into at least getting my back brakes done. I was quoted around $600, which already felt insanely high, but I was scared and desperate, so I agreed.
The next morning, instead of being able to pick up my car as promised, I got another call saying that my car was “seized” and they needed to do an additional $300 repair before I could take it. At that point, I didn’t have any other transportation and I didn’t know enough to push back. They knew I was stuck, and they took full advantage. Once again, I agreed because I had no choice.
When I finally went to pick up my car, I was handed a bill for $1,100 just for back brakes and this mysterious extra fix. Let me remind you, I was a teenager in high school, working a minimum wage job, and I had saved every dollar I had just to be able to afford a car and keep it on the road. I left that shop completely broke and absolutely devastated. To make it worse, they never even fixed the original problem I came in for the loud noise from the tire. Just said they think they fixed it by not even replacing the caliper that was loose, and ‘adjusted’ it.
Looking back now, it’s painfully obvious they saw a young, inexperienced girl and chose to scam me for every penny they could get. They lied, they upsold, they fear-mongered, and they completely exploited my lack of knowledge. It was predatory, plain and simple.
This place is not honest, not ethical, and absolutely not trustworthy. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone not even for something small. If you value your money and don’t want to be manipulated into unnecessary repairs, STAY FAR AWAY from this shop.
They preyed on me when I was vulnerable, and I will never forget that. I’ll spend the rest of my life warning people about the way they do business. Please save yourself 500 bucks and go literally anywhere else!!
Update: After reading their response I am even more disheartened by this company. Claiming that I, a teenager at the time had a vendetta against an employee there is absurd. I didn’t end up paying 1,100 because I asked them about a bunch of random charges that were listed. I still ended up paying a little over $900 dollars. For an issue that was not addressed. And no, I was told that they could not figure out what was causing the noise, they just said they never heard it when doing the test drive. And I only bring this up “now” because I feel comfortable speaking out against this problem. Imagine how I felt over a year ago when this was my first car and the first time bringing it to a shop.

My friends and I went into the auto repair shop to inspect the car. The man inside behaved strangely towards us and made us wait outside except for one person. I have never seen such nonsense as the first time I watched it. I don't think they are professional.
