Derosier’s made my two-part move easy. The estimate process was accurate because Allen walked through the house with me via FaceTime to see exactly what I would be moving. On move out day, the movers (Jeffrey, Dorsey and Mark) arrived early, were careful not to hit low wires with the truck, and put down covering to protect the floors and stairs. They carefully wrapped and took apart certain furniture and art. My belongings were stored conveniently in their Stratford warehouse. On move in day, the movers (Jeffrey, Dorsey and Mike) arrived exactly on time, again protected the floors, unwrapped and reassembled everything carefully. They were quick to move the truck that had to block in a neighbor. They checked in with me to make sure everything was in the right place and moved a few things around. The price for both moves and storage was better than competitors. I will definitely use Derosier’s for my next move.

I have moved several times in my life and have never had such a great moving experience as I did with Desrosiers. The crew was exceptional. They worked non-stop and were extremely efficient, polite and courteous. I was out of my old house and into my new address in one day which was quite an accomplishment. This was my 5th move in the last 10 years and I was blown away by Derosier. It was by far the best moving experience Ive had. They were all extremely professional, efficient and friendly. I would highly highly recommend them to anyone looking to move in the area.

We could not have been more pleased with our experience with Derosier Moving. The office staff were extremely polite and helpful, even giving us extra boxes when we ran out during the packing process, free of charge. On moving day, the crew arrived early and ready for the job. it was a HOT 90 degree summer day and they worked tirelessly for 10 hours. They moved everything safely and checked to be sure everything was where we wanted it placed. Moving is such a stressful process but Derosier made it all go so smoothly. We were so appreciative to have been is such good hands. Highly recommend!

I honestly never rate things but this time I feel the need. Basically the worst experience I could have imagined with a moving company. I approached a few companies for quotes for a long-distance move. I chose DeRosier because they were the most affordable and Alan was a very nice guy. One week before the move, his office manager sends me paperwork to finalize the agreement and the price has somehow risen $1200 from what was quoted. I ask why and get a call from Alan a day later saying that their original plan to use a medium-size truck which would pick up and drive straight to our destination fell through, so now we need to use the Arpin shuttle service, oh and by the way that's an additional charge. None of this was mentioned in the initial quote. We were so close to our move date that we had no time to make alternative arrangements, so I accepted the additional charge. I also asked multiple times before the pick-up date when we could expect the shipment to be delivered. Even just a range of days would suffice; we were moving with two small children and were trying to plan our trip and where to stay and for how long while we waited for the delivery. Multiple times he said he would get back to me. They came for pickup on a Sunday, no issues with the actual load, but I still didn't know when it would be delivered. By Tuesday, I'm with my family at our destination, living out of a hotel still wondering when our things will arrive. I don't get confirmation until that Thursday that our things will arrive on Saturday. Oh and the price jumped up another $1200 because apparently our things weighed more than initially expected. I don't know much about the world of moving companies, but getting an estimated delivery date and an accurate quote in advance seems like a pretty basic request. I understand both these things are estimates, but not receiving one, and lowballing another by 40% (!!!!!!) seems criminally incompetent to me. Find someone else for your move.

Called them for an estimate and it took them 3 days to call back. When they did call back we scheduled an appointment and they gave no indication that there might be an issue with the day them not being able to do the move on the day we were looking. The day we were slated to meet with them for the estimate they called to say that they had booked a number of jobs so could no longer do the move on the day requested. They went on to ask if we could move two weeks later. Really? Of course, we will just call the buyer of the house and see if they mind if we hang out for a couple of weeks. Why waste my time if they think they have potential jobs on that day and/or why not give me a heads up that I need to book in order to hold the spot? They cost me days of potentially finding another mover at a very busy time for most movers. Never again....

Derosier recently helped my parents pack up and move out of the home they lived in for over 40 years. They made every part of the process easier then we imagined it could be. Allan and his team are friendly, helpful and supportive. We can not say enough wonderful things about them and we highly recommend using their services!

Derosier Moving and Storage are true professionals. The have been doing this since 1918 and it's what they do. A level of service and competence that is rare and hard to find. The best moving experience we have had. They are always on time, prepared to do the work, work with skill and a good pace. They are respectful of our time and home. They always ask if there is a question. A good move, by good people with good attitudes. Everything clear and no hidden costs. From our perspective a very good value for the price. It gave us a sense of confidence so we could relax and focus on other things. Highly recommended.
