I bought some avocados from Peru and they were hard as a rock, horrible, I wish they would sell the mexican ones. But the people and the place are nice over all.

This has to be the worst store in Ct. Shelves are always empty. The cream puffs that look so good are hard as a rock and the cream is old and dried out. Never any Hood milk.
Also the fish department smells really bad and nothing looks fresh.
Never going back there again.

Worker John profiled me and my family last night and accused us of stealing and threaten us with police . I don’t appreciate the narrative he tried to portray and his approach towards the situation was absolutely unacceptable. I also don’t appreciate him disrespecting me in front of my 4 year old daughter . We had our toddler and we made an innocent/minuscule mistake and were approached and treated poorly as if we are criminals . John was blatantly disrespectful . He refused to give me his name and ignored me. Manager Anthony was supposed to rectify the situation instead he over talked me and explained workers behalf instead of listening to my complaints as a customer . I expressed to Anthony my discomfort as a customer and he was unapologetic. I am appalled very displeased and unstatified With this experience. John and Anthony were extremely unapologetic. The situation could’ve been handled a lot better. I will never shop here again. The worst experience as a consistent customer . I Do Not recommend. I’d give negative stars if it was available.

This store is the dirtiest store I've ever been in. The fish department is very disappointing the cod looks like it's been sitting out all night. The produce is rotten and very old. Slim pickens....I'll travel the extra 10 minutes to shelton where the owners care about their customers

Good Day, I had to change my review today 7-10-2024 after noticing I had fraudulent charges of more than 3599.00 on my Credit card in the last register nearest the news stand and donation box Exit area, it happened over a .27 cent plastic bag.

I’ve been shopping there for years.
The absolute worst store , ever time I go the stock for many things are empty. Lots of people always standing around not doing their job.
Especially when you go to check out, there’s always five managers standing around and two registers open absolutely ridiculous. Whoever is in charge of the store needs to stop being afraid to tell people to do their job !! The store was never like this. I don’t know what happened.

I'm going to find another place to purchase fish lately the fish has been questionable last time I was going to return it when I got home I ended up tossing it out it smelled funky and the fish department smells disgusting I wonder if the health department knows about this

A big shoutout to the Stratford ShopRite! We have been shopping at this place for years but this time I lost my phone!!! The customer care service was awesome, the lady there listened to me patiently and took my information.This morning, I got a call that someone turned in my phone at the customer service.

the parking lot is a chore to get in, the wifi doesnt work half the time, and Ive been waiting 25 minutes at the deli counter for my meats.
