I would give 0 stars if I could . We stopped without an appointment to do my son’s passport . Two people working inside one of them told us you need an appointment to proceed and they under staffed. We looked around the place was empty no line no one was in the office . And she still wouldn’t help us . I don’t know what happened to this great country but these people shouldn’t work in that post office it’s a joke she just didn’t feel like it to help us . The passport area was empty!!!!! This is a joke place miserable people working there never going back again !!! Avoid this place

The woman with glasses and braids was acting miserably while throwing boxes and yelling at people in line to move over. She definitely should not be working in customer service. Will never come to this location.

It is 10am. I’m in line at the Stratford, CT. As usual there is only one (1) person working. Because of this, there are 10 people in front of me plus, one person being helped. This is common at this branch of the post office. From what I’ve seen on line, it has the lowest ratings in the state. This is the worst post office I’ve ever seen. I had to rate it at least one star to use this tool, but I would have given it zero stars.

Stopped in quickly because it's near my gym. Had to mail some Christmas cards. I was in line a bit but expected that. Once I got up, it was fairly uneventful. Bought some stamps as well. No problems.

Stratford native, I run a small trading card business on the side through eBay and Mercari. I’ve processed 500+ orders through this locations. Rarely ever a pleasant experience. I dropped off a batch of 20 prepaid packages recently. 2 packages never got scanned in and are missing after 6 days.I went in this morning to inquire on why no origin scan has been initiated for 2/20 of the packages yet, lady at the front desk proceeds to be the most condescending person I’ve ever dealt with.Trying to give me a lesson on logistics (with years of experience in logistics facilities) refused to check my trackings or photos tracking the shipment and just wanted to force me into buying new labels for all my items if I wanted updated tracking… when all my other packages have had no issues.Truly surprised with this location still being in business or run by who is running it. I’ve seen some disgusting behavior by workers in regards to passports and elderly who can hear or understand how to work credit/debit cards.Difference between workers been burnt out and just plain awful 24/7. I’ve gone in every day for weeks and could never give you an experience where u walked out of there going wow, I’m grateful for this location or those counter workers.I will include I’ve had to pay out of pocket to cover for shipments that were lost in this facility. 1 in 2021 and 2 in 2022.Avoid this location at all costs. Tenured employees who have no regard for others. Just want to make sure the lines aren’t long by what ever means necessary. They will ruin your day, laugh and talk about you as you leave the counter and not care about if your parcels go missing in their hands.

horrible service, whoever is in charge of picking up and dropping off mail on stagg street in stratford ct does not pick up mail or drop off 5 days out of 6. We have camera footage of the mailman driving up but does not get out of the car. this is unacceptable and hope this is fixed asap.

We have had 2 appointments for passports cancelled an hour and a half before. Then he tells me where I can go. I know where you can go. One time, ok things happen, but two weeks in a row? I know where the other locations are, but the appointment is here. Why are you taking appointments if you're not honoring them?
