“I showed up without an appointment for a nail trim on an anxious Chihuahua. The groomer was gracious, fast and skilled. Never heard my pup yelp and believe me he yelps even for just being scared.

“Weeps and bones is located inside an old factory building along with a number of other businesses. It is also the only pet store that still has self-service dog wash! Absolutely excellent service and when your dog is done getting bath they get a cookie”
“Nice store with a good selection of homesteading equipment. I was there last week because I have a hen with an eye injury that I was trying to treat and a gentleman, who raised chickens, showed me what they had for chicken first aid, which wasn't a lot unfortunately (especially because we were concerned about what we could safely put near her eye) but I found something and he gave me some advice and was as helpful as he could be (not being a veterinarian). I was also there last night to try on a bigger pair of gloves I'd received for Christmas as they seemed tight but not necessarily too small and the gentleman at the desk told us where the gloves were, and when I still couldn't find them and went to ask him he had someone in line so I just went back to look one more time and found them right away and he came over a minute later to see if I needed help because he saw me go over which was very nice. Overall, the staff there seems very kind and helpful.”

“My experience at Vetco has been very positive. The teams are friendly and good with my dog. Some are more thorough than others, but that may be due to the business of their schedule. Prices are very reasonable . I wish Vetco would open a full service clinic/ practice in the Southington area.”
“There are puppies all the way in the back if you are looking for a cuteness overload. You do need a membership however to take them out and play with them. A large fish selection to pick from. Pricing is a little hard to visualize at times, but overall a nice pet store.”

“This shelter is amazing! ARF has been a part of my life for almost two decades now. The good work they do is unbelievable. I started off volunteering to walk dogs and later on ended up adopting three of my cats from them! When I had difficulties with a new foster cat from ARF that I later ended up adopting, I reached out to the shelter desperate for advice and help and they dropped everything to be there for me and help me solve all my issues. This shelter really truly cares about the animals that they save and adopt out and the people who volunteer there are angels. If you're looking for a new four legged family member, look into ARF. The work they do and the loving care they take of every animal that comes through those doors is unparalleled!”
