“I just want to give a HUGE thank-you for the gracious Post Lady that stopped to help me use her phone to call 911. I had just arrived from Florida and was taking care of my son’s dogs and house when I locked myself out of the house. I only had pajamas on and had been outside for over 2 hours in the cold, She was so kind- stayed there until I talked to the police officer who then was able to contact my son working in NY. “I had to leave a review after visiting this post office today. The way they decorated the office for Breast Cancer Awareness truly deserves recognition—it’s beautiful and so thoughtful. I was left flabbergasted at the effort and creativity they put into it. On top of that, the service was friendly and quick. Make sure to stop by and see their breast cancer theme decorations—they definitely deserve a reward for the work they put in!”

“This one is so much better than Thomaston PO. The staff here are professional and friendly. The Thomaston one they have attitudes especially the lady post master I spoke to ( interjecting and speaking gruffly) she should be fired! They also hire incompetent carriers who speed in the complex had many problems with Thomaston PO and brought to managers attention - they don't seem to give. Thomaston needs to get better carriers and staff. I try not to do much business at that one.”

“Went there with my daughter for a passport appointment. Quick, great service, and seamless! I went to the Avon USPS and they canceled my appointment without calling. At this location, their photo services were down but they called me to let me know with plenty of time for me to go to the CVS across the street beforehand. This is definitely my go to USPS from now on!”
“I wanted to give a shout out to the Torrington post office for helping me to redirect my package so I could pick it up. I recently moved and they have assisted me with a few issues related to changing my address, always with kindness. Thanks specifically to Dave for your amazing customer service and for making sure everything worked out! I appreciate being able to call and talk to you an actual person who gives me direct assistance! We know you are busy and work hard! This teacher definitely appreciates your help!”

“first of all, I sent my package through the post office that was supposed to go to FedEx Angie. The postmaster not only helped me with my issue. She followed up again and again and guided me through how to find if the package had been delivered without Angie, I don’t know if I would have found my package. Angie is the bomb.”
“While I have always had good service at the Watertown, CT post office, I have had some problems trying to call the postal employees there. No one ever answers the phone! I wanted to ask them to hold my mail for me, because my mailbox was crushed by a falling tree during the last storm. I am having a mobility problem, and was hoping I didn't have to go into the post office myself. Guess I have to now.”
“Eric was very helpful and attentive. I didn’t catch the name of the older caucasian woman next to him she had glasses and her hair was graying. She was extremely rude to him and as a customer it made me very uncomfortable. You should not treat people like that, ESPECIALLY in front of customers.”
“I visited this location Yesterday because I was having issues with my mail Being return to sender as well as my packages. The manager on duty worked hard to resolve the issue and ensured that my packages got redelivered today. I use this location often and the employees are always polite even when the lines are out the door.”

“I see a lot of bad reviews so I wanted to leave my own for a change of perspective ! I use this post office all the time and i haven't ever had an issue. I went in there this morning and the man that's always there in the morning (wish I thought to ask for his name ) was so incredibly helpful. I was trying to track down a package I mailed 2 weeks ago that appeared to have been lost based on the tracking. He searched the system every way he could and despite me giving him all of the wrong info (I had the date and time wrong AND the person who had helped me that day wrong - I confused it with another day that I shipped a package) he was so patient and kind and he solved the mystery . He found the transaction and gave me plenty of proof that it was actually delivered last week despite the recipient not verifying that it was. He was the only one there and had other customers that he bounced back and forth between me and helping them and was still smiling and kind with us all. I would have lost patience with me if I were him lol!
