My son started about a month before turning 7. He was excited but very nervous. From day one we were treated with nothing but respect, my son was taught one on one the first day so he felt comfortable and we were able to watch. The masters are amazing with each child and you can tell each and every one of them love what they do. I would highly recommend to anyone who has thought of wanting to try karate.

My grandson is an active 6 year old who loves to keep moving and can’t sit still. He started classes at Quest two months ago and I am already seeing positive thing’s happening! He is focused, he stands still and most importantly he is smiling and enjoying himself. He is also very proud of his accomplishments which makes him feel good about himself. Here at Quest the teachers are amazing with the kids. I am also very impressed that they also teach safety, manners and respect, all in a fun way. I am very satisfied with the entire experience!

amazing instructors. Everyone treats you with respect and kindness regardless of who you are. We are always involved and the communication is amazing. You can tell each person working there loves their job and it shows as they work side-by-side with each child. I highly recommend this place for anyone thinking of joining karate.

This place is more than just a martial arts school, it’s a second family to whoever enters those doors. I started taking classes here almost a decade ago, and have never regretted getting into it. Not only do the instructors teach you techniques and self-defense, they open the doors to self discovery. Being a student here allowed me to break out of the shell I was in and discover who I wanted to be as a person. The instructors and students alike treat you like family, cheering you on as you take on any new challenge. You’ll become more confident, disciplined, and eager to take on any obstacle that you may face.If you’re looking to take martial arts, this is the place to go. Quest Martial Arts always welcomes new members of our growing community!

Quest Martial Arts is a karate school of excellence! All of the staff are patient, kind, and extremely supportive of each childs individual karate journey. The program is also well organized. Since starting almost 2 years ago, my children have gained immense amounts of confidence, focus, and self-control. I couldn't be more happy with our experience here so far, and I can't wait to see what the future brings. Thank you, Quest Martial Arts!

Colleagues and I from Northeast Opportunities for Wellness, Inc (NOW) recently attended a workshop at Quest Martial Arts where we learned about self-defense with Master Duethorn. Not only did we learn and practice various physical skills to keep ourselves safe and healthy, but we also learned numerous theoretical lessons that fostered a self-defense mindset. The staff at QMA were exceptional and welcomed us to step outside our comfort zones in a safe environment. Master Duethorn also took the time to provide a self-defense workshop to participants of NOW’s girls teen empowerment group – all the girls loved it!

I cannot speak highly enough about the self-defense program that Kristin at Quest Marital Arts hosted for the NOW Girls Empowerment Group this year. Kristin related so well with the tweens in our group, and she shared stories with them that helped the girls better understand why the topic of self-safety and self-defense are so important. Kristin worked so well with our girls to inspire their inner strength while expanding their confidence of their physical strength as well. Kristin hosted a program that was a great combination of physical and emotional safety, boundary setting, and physical defense. If you are looking for realistic, real world self defense program this is where you will find it. Kristin related all movements and techniques to real self-safety situations and allowed time for each girl to practice the moves with each other, as well as with her – personally! Kristins self-defense demonstrations and techniques along with her ability to empower you and others to try the new movements will WOW you. I can not recommend her self defense program enough!

I have been attending QMA for approximately 3.5 yrs. It started as a parent child activity. However, it has become so much more for me. Over time, the staff have become great mentors, role models and valued friends. The same is true of so many other members. I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the greatest martial artists in the country and from younger students learning just like me. As a school principal I brought Quest into my school to promote awareness about bullying and how to address it, as well as for some fun, simple and practical personal; safety for some interested staff. My life is incredibly busy, but I carve out time for classes because I want to for me. It provides so many benefits and balance I need. I would recommend any parent look into it for their child. QMA teaches perserverance, confidence, self discipline, accountability and team work. You'd be surprised how many members excel in school, at work and in life. I also recommend it for you. I'd be proud to have their instructors teaching with in my school. There are so many families learning together. Do yourself and your children a favor check out this great community.

My colleagues and I brought our Girls Empowerment Group to QMA for a skills training course in basic self defense. It was such a positive experience and I feel that not only did our young people (ages 12-14) learn so many valuable skills but the adults in our group did as well. Kristen was thorough, presented information and techniques in a manner that was well understood by our diverse group, and she was extremely patient. She immediately built rapport with a group of adolescent girls (which we all know can be a feat). I would highly recommend QMA for both young people as well as adults. I know that our group will be making another visit in the future.

My girls and I have all trained with Quest Martial Arts. My family has gained life long friends from this school and from schools with which Quest interacts nationally and internationally. The lifelong lessons and unique experiences Quest gives one access to are INVALUABLE!This school's philosophy follows GM Hwang Kee's ideal that martial arts is the key to global peace. It promotes the physical, mental and spiritual growth of each student and encourages seeing beyond punching and kicking to better oneself. Each Quest Master, each Instructor and each Black belt embodies this and it is seen in the growth of each student passing through the doors.

Quest Martial Arts has been my home away from home now for almost seventeen years. The instructors are fantastic, and you learn so many valuable lessons. I cannot recommend taking your child to Quest enough, I truly think it’s the best thing that you can ever do for them.

My daughter takes karate at Quest Martial Arts and she loves it. She has gained self confidence and enjoys participating on the demonstration team, teaching the younger kids and earning her SWAT badge (special winning attitude team) which will hopefully lead to her teaching at the school in the future (one of her goals). She will be testing for her Black Belt this year and I love how everything she learns at the school can be applied outside of school. We are so grateful to the students that are supportive and to those who teach and dedicate their time to helping others. It is an amazing Karate family and I'm so grateful these are my daughters role models. My daughter started at age 7 and is currently 12 in 8th grade with a goal of Black Belt by high school. She is currently a Junior Black belt . We just watched a Master Belt graduation last weekend and both left inspired. I can't recommend this school enough!
