I have tried contacting eversource due to a power outage for the last 5 hours and have gotten no response. 0/10 customer service.

Thanks for jacking up my latest bill claiming my usage was way up, when I know damn well I used less than previous years.... how this is allowed to continue is beyond me.

I paid all my bills during covid like most residents here in CT, now my bill is 3-4 times what it used to be with new windows, insulation, energy star appliances, LED bulbs and turning things off whenever we can. Public benefits are outrageous! Delivery is too much! Even the supply is too high now. What is going on? People can’t afford to live like this!

Absurd and unreasonable charges. Public benefits charge yet this company makes more than plenty in profits. Pure greed.

The linemen & workers themselves aren't the problem w/Eversource. It's the people that answer the phones & their phone/internet/mobile performance that really sucks. In addition to the abysmal wait times, the rude & uncaring customer service reps & delays in service. It shouldn't take me 40mins to call & pay my bill. It does, try to go on the app. Tells me there's a problem, try to sign in on the website, another problem... Nevermind the price gouging, their favoritism w/CT's corrupt politicians & that they have the market cornered in this state.

I've been without hot water since June 24th. It's now July 5th & I had a appointment with eversource today. It's now 9:30pm. It's absurd that I had to wait until July 5th & then they was a no show & I'm still without hot water. They are a heartless careless company

It's not so much Eversource's fault as much as the company they hired to trim the trees in an easement at our house these guys came in and cut and left the brush behind there was a small fence separateing our yard from the neighbor behind us and knocked it down. I spoke to someone at Eversource and they had someone from the crew come out and they said they would take care of it well it's been almost a month now and they haven't been back. We have been here for over 30 years and when they had Asplundh doing the work we never had a problem. They probably took someone cheaper and this is the kind of service they give you.

Eversource came out last week and replaced the wire from the pole to the house. They came within a reasonable time and were very courteous. They resolved the issue.
Thank you,

I'm not hopeful that Eversource executives will look at these poor reviews and try to remedy the reasons for the overwhelming disatisfaction with this company. Small businesses have to provide quality service or product for a reasonable price. Eversource is an over sized monopoly that is rewarding top executives and shareholders while continuing to legally cheat their customers with high supply and delivery charges and slow service. Norwich Public Utilities, a publically owned small utility company responds to outages immediately and communicates clearly to customers. Eversource customers experience frequent outages with insufficient cause resulting in unreasonably long delays in restoration.
