Really small theatre screen compared to anywhere else. Drink is 8$ and they don’t allow refills. Need to turn on heat when it’s cold outside, no one wants to watch a movie and be freezing. Tickets are 14$ which is pretty pricy given the state of the place.

This movie theater has changed hands so many times in my life time but apple cinemas has done things right. Friendly staff, the ability to butter your own popcorn, trays in the theater for your snacks and drinks so you don’t have a lap full of stuff and even reclining leather seats that even allow you to put your feet up. By far one of the best movie theater experiences I have had in a very long time.

I try going once a week or so especially for bargain Tuesday. Bring my son for the movie theater experience that I had as a kid. Service is always great and the seating is comfortable.

Nice small movie theater.Friendly staff. The only reason it wasn't five star is the recliner had some issues so it was uncomfortable to recline.

I came to see Killers of the Flower Moon, and I'll I can hear THRU the wall, during the whole movie is Taylor Swift Music/Movie. Super disappointing to go to such a deep movie just to hear Tweeny Bob music the Whole time. The little girl working did apologize and say she could ask her boss for a refund, but I've already watched half the movie and want to finish. Just disappointed at the experience ??

Manager is horrible to the customers and employees. Made the mistake of paying extra money to go to the Taylor Swift experience thought my girls could sing along to the music, and then his management told us to be quiet. So hypocritical to up charge us for the "" experience", but then tell us to be quiet.

It's definitely worth it to go on bargain Tuesdays when tickets are half price. The seats are the newer, comfy reclining style but tend to benefit from a quick wipe with a clorox wipe. It's definitely not as nice as the Simsbury location, but it's okay. Even better on half-price Tuesdays.

The staff was great! The seats and vide are great! Not great ( Sadface) was the three Large black marks/ damage? on theater 3’s screen. There are few reasons to go to a movie theater ( I was a projectionist for four years way back in the 90s) one is watching a film on a large screen.Apple you need to stop selling tickets to this theater till you repair these marks on the screen. I understand it’s expensive. But at ticket cost these days and my and others few expectations about what you get when going to a movie theater ? this needs to be repaired. You’re not selling a fair experience when all the actors haves large flys on their face throughout the movie. And their shoulder. And other places. Ugh

Apple cinemas in Torrington on Farley place. Never disappoints. The theater is always well. Manicured and the bathrooms are always clean. There is adequate parking and the staff are always helpful and friendly.

Former worker here. Place is shabby but theaters are cozy. Food is overpriced and general manager is a f3l0n and s3xist/rud3, left bc he wanted all original Torrington employees gone when he took over from barkhamsted location

Comfortable seats, great little theater. My only suggestion is to get more of a mix of genre. More dramas, more comedy, more horror. One or two kid/family films is more than enough.
