I had a wonderful experience at Doyles yesterday. They were super helpful in getting me the right equipment for my broken ankle and were very accommodating when I kept changing my mind on what to take. The owner was super friendly and helpful. I'm renting what I need. He gave me multiple options and made sure the staff knew what I was ultimately doing. I was still there after their closing hours but no one rushed me. The scooter has been a game changer for me. I will certainly use them again.

I recently visited Doyle's Medical Supply and had an experience that I think is important to share. During my visit, I encountered an employee whose behavior was both unprofessional and insensitive. This situation reminded me of a time when a public figure was seen mocking someone's disability. Similarly, the way this employee treated me was demeaning and made me feel humiliated because of my own disability.This incident has made me seriously question the kind of customer service and respect Doyle's Medical Supply shows to its customers. It's disappointing to see such behavior from a place that many people rely on for important medical supplies and support.The employee I dealt with was an older lady wearing a wig. Her attitude was not just unfriendly; it felt like she was looking down on me, which is something no one should ever experience, especially in a store that's supposed to help people with their medical needs.This whole experience has made me think about how Doyle's being the main medical supply store around here might be part of the problem. It seems like because they're the only big option, some employees might feel like they can treat customers any way they want, and that's not right.I hope by sharing my experience, Doyle's Medical Supply will take a good look at how they train their staff and make sure they're treating all customers with the respect and kindness they deserve. It's also a reminder that having more options for medical supplies in our area could help make sure businesses stay friendly and treat their customers well.

Needed an in-home oxygen concentrator and some travel tanks set up in my home. I called Doyle's and dealt with customer rep Claire. Claire was smart, efficient and informative and was incredibly kind to me. Doyle's set up what I needed and happily taught my wife and I how to use the equipment. No problem here, they have been a very big help. Thank you!

I'm amazed at how low their rating is to be honest. I've never had a problem with them , they always were very kind to me and have always provided what I needed for a reasonable price. They always were there for my grandmother and grandfather as well and I've never had a bad experience with them . I have to question the honesty of the people being so negative as it is in stark contrast to my experiences with Doyle's in Torrington CT over the last 10 years.

THIS PLACE IS A FRAUD!!!Received my cpap machine, after 3 months of compliance and full pcp approval a manager at Doyle’s told me that the machine was mine to keep. After about 8 months I was moving to NJ and they called me to say I have to go through compliance again and repossessed the cpap. I believe it was only because I tried to transfer to another Medical Supply place. I was never told that my compliance will be checked again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

We needed a hospital bed quickly for my Father coming out of a convalescent home. They went out of their way to deliver a bed as soon as we needed it. The mattress was awesome. Totally professional service. I highly recommend their services.

in April 2022 I had them install a stair lift for my mother. I was told that in six months I would receive a letter deciding to pay monthly or pay off the stair lift. they said they sent one in the mail which they might have but I never received it it must of got lost in the mail. When I called to talk about it they didn't care apparently they don't care if you were throwing money away I believe they sent it but they did not seem to believe me that I did not receive the letter. I will never do business with them again. So I paid more10 months if payments that would not add to the balance

There was an older woman there who approached us with what seemed like the intent to help us. After I explained what I needed for my son, she proceeded to give me multiple excuses as to why she could not help us at the moment. We waited and by the end of the visit her customer service did not improve. While we waited she even had another incident with a male employee leaving him humiliated. We usually have a pleasent experience but this time was unfortunately different. To the point she recommended I go somewhere else.

Tried to buy a wheelchair from them,...told them my insurance. Co. (Uninted Healhcare).The person on the phone said to me "never heard of them".....then silence...............I broke the silence by asking do you have someone who's qualified to answer me???PUTS me on hold 7 minutes,...and says ""nope we don't take it".I said good by and good riddence!!!

Thank you to John! We had an emergency situation and at 4:05 (they close at 430) I needed a hospital bed. I was out through to his voice mail but called backed and said I would stay on hold until they found him. I told him my situation and he said it wasn't a problem and I could come pick up a bed. They should me how to set it up and his assistant gave me his cell phone number in case I had any problems. Great service! Thank you!

I've done business with Doyle's for over 15 years for my late wife and more recently for myself. I am disabled and purchased a chair lift from Doyle's 2 years ago for my stairway as I am unable to get myself up and down the stairs safely with severe gait issues. My chair lift broke down and I was not able to get upstairs to use my toilette or go to bed. I made a late night call to Doyle's as I was desperate and they advertise they are available to assist customers 24 hours. I spoke to a kind caring woman at 1:45 am.who said the store would be open at 8 am and that someone would contact me then. I waited for the call and chose to make another call to the store. I was told they do not ordinarily service on Saturdays. I told the man of my difficult situation and he said there is to be a charge for it. I said yes of course and okay. I need help as quickly as I can get it. I had to sleep downstairs in a chair that was very uncomfortable for me. The man on the the phone gave me different prices that it would cost me and wanted to know how I was going to pay for it. I said send someone here to my home and I would pay for it. I needed the service. He called me back to tell me the different prices it would cost me including the mileage from Doyle's to and from my home and again asked me how I was to pay for it. At his point I became more upset as he was not listening nor hearing me. I told him not to bother.I fond a handyman friend who saved my day. He fixed the lift so that it gets me up and down the stairs. I contacted HARMAR Co. to request someone from another medical supply company to assist me as the lift is not able to lift from the floor as it needs to. I am so very sorry that I made my purchase from Doyle's Medical Supplies. I have found another local Medical supply business in Torrington who will serve my medical needs such as an UPWALKER and a ROLLATOR both which I will be purchasing in the days ahead.

I am finding it difficult to find good to say this day about Doyle's. My family has used them for any and all medical necessities for several family members over the last 15 years or so. We always had good customer service, always good phone communications, good if not exceptional delivery. Have not had to use services the past three years as all which needed have passed. August found the need to again require services for medical equipment, so of course we immediately go to a place where we always had positive interaction....right? Well, I am not sure what has changed at this time but definitely not happy at this time. Orders put in back in August, three different people and item's.....no communication from Doyle's, check on only to find out " we have nothing on record" WHAT? I came and checked on orders, brought down orders, verified info with 3 different employees........as did my daughter. Seriously.....you should have been there to hear the BS. Funny how they" had no orders" yet the very next day I get a call that 0ne item is in and I can come pick it up! What....they don't deliver now either? "We can't. He's booked up". Mhmmmm.Needless to say if I hadn't been doing this for so many years, and if daughter wasn't in the medical field. Maybe treating us like idiots would fly but.....yeah...no. Again, I am very disappointed. I cannot imagine what happened to have such drastic changes. At any rate my appreciation to Roger for helping. And to the other few.....don't just spout things....be sure.
