If you are ISO of a quality but reasonably priced reupholstery service, look no further than Ewald's in Torrington, CT. After years of wear and tear, some of our furniture needed a redo. I tried calling a few places I found on line and left voice mail messages, but NO ONE got back to me. Then I called Ewald's in Torrington, and Zygmunt, the owner and a true furniture craftsman, answered the phone. He asked me to email photos and we made an appointment for a consult. He and his wife Olga patiently led us through the whole reupholstering process. Our old pieces are reincarnated even better than before. Check out his website (www.Ewalds.net), click on some of the services he offers, and take a look at his and Olga's work. If you think, these pictures look too good to be true, you are wrong. That's really the result you get with Ewald's. A big plus is that Zygmunt and Olga are lovely, hard working people.

This was bright blue, green and yellow plaid from the 70s. It was completely caved in at the head from my niece jumping on it as a toddler. Ewald's made it come back to life as a zebra and we love it!

The owner, Zygmunt, is an expert! We have worked with him on dozens of projects. He is very easy to communicate with, sends progress photos, and always asks when there is a design decision to be made! Cannot recommend him enough, and almost don't want to because we don't want him to get so busy that he doesn't have time for our projects! :)
