Store manager is very rude and entitled. Treats everyone like garbage bc she thinks she’s better than them. She will yell at customers and employees belittling them for any slight. I would NOT recommend going to this Joann’s. Any other one is fine but the store manager makes it an AWFUL experience in Torrington.
I have attached photos from my latest experience at Joann’s. Unfortunately this is the closest one to us and the next one is a bit far. My curbside order was tampered with and this white sticky substance all over it. The bag was full of yarn and this was place about a a third from the bottom of the bag. Store manager Paula Castillo is a very vengeful person who does NOT care what she does to customers

Great store. You can find everything! They have good sales, lots of cloth. People are very nice there. Highly recommend!

The manager there was so rude for no reason. She had such an attitude and she needs to get it checked. I was in the store for no more then a minute and I was told and I quote "are you actually going to buy anything this time? if not there is the door." Only moments later we checked out and left.

Horrible management since there’s a new store manager apparently. Disgusting attitude toward the elderly, I was a Joanns regular but now I think I’ll take my business to Michael’s. The only cashier to offer any help and had a pleasant attitude was a young lady Jessi. Step it up Joanns your COVID remnant scam was enough.

This JOANN’s has great deals, and they have really cute home decor. The section is great for crafting, and the cashier was very nice.

I think I was a manager or assistant manager that helped me. She was awesome, but the girl on cash to check me out was terrible with attitude didn't want to do anything, excusing me that I should have another yellow slip from the counter where they cut for you I told this is all I was giving and everything should be on it she insisted I should have another slip come to find out after she pull my slip after she threw it away that I was right everything was on that slip was accounted for which made her even more miserable she read the slip wrong. She didn't want to pack anything, she was just plain lazy her name was Sue. I stop going there because of one rotten apple, the other girl that help was totally awesome and makes it well worth going there. Her name began with a B I don't remember the rest of the spelling but she was great.

This Joanns is completely horrible with customers. Worst “store manager” I’ve ever come across, young and arrogant with a nasty attitude. I’ve been a loyal customer years and always had a great relationship with the employees here but since the management change, I think I’ll be changing the fabric store I go to.
