I just can not say enough in support of a conscientious, honest mechanic who will recommend to you what he would do for his own or a family member's car. You may trust Jon to do what is right. Call him first to schedule an appointment as he does not keep a big staff.

I don't recommend anything unless I feel strongly about it. This world is filled with dishonest people, especially mechanics, but I can assure you that Jonathan and Steve at Litchfield County Auto Service are upstanding guys who know their vehicles. I've been going to them for many years and they have always been honest and fair. They take pride in their work and their business which clearly shows. How anyone can say otherwise is beyond me. With that said, I highly recommend using their services. You won't regret it.

I'm pretty mechanically skilled myself. However for anything I don't want to mess with or simply cannot complete myself, I bring to John over at Litchfield County Auto. He is nothing but honest and just an insanely skilled mechanic. Just an all around good guy, heck he's even so much as told me he doesn't want to take my money for a job he doesn't think is beneficial or worth it. This is not the sort of shop that just takes any job and every customers money. They will tell you to cut your losses if needed or when to do a job. He has went out of his way to take care of my issues even if they are busy, John will take some time, listen to what's going on and tell you his HONEST professional opinion. I wouldn't trust my vehicle in anyone else's hands. Forever thankfull for auto repair shops like Litchfield County Auto service.
