So like most customers of Lowes and Home Depot, we have had good and not-so good experiences. We thought we'd update our notes since we've had two recent visits that turned out be exactly that. For one of them we needed a replacement part for a stove; an employee helpfully pointed us to the right area of the store and we found exactly what we wanted. The part cost $44, about the same as online. Before that on another visit to the garden shop no one seemed to know what we needed, and we got misdirected. BBottom line there: we came away empty-handed and somewhat annoyed. So, not sure that this is helpful to anyone; you take your chances here, and when it works it's great. We think most of the employees are customer oriented, but it doesn't hurt to keep your fingers crossed when you walk in.

my poor choice in choosing Lowes for a slider with installation. I was charged for it right away but never got contacted about the installation so I made a LOT of calls all over....Lowes , their installation company, the. building inspector ... all on MY time! things that should have been done by them in a more timely fashion! I would NOT recommend them or their installation company

Gloves = $8.75 ea Fire sticks = $10 ea Bushel of wood = $20 ea Iron metal poker set = $69 ea Setup easy, I also got a tractor battery and a good reminder to bring your old battery if you are trading in or else it's an extra $10 surcharge until you bring the old one back for recycling.
