We bought a recliner a few months back. Dave was great to deal with....I even had to go back the next day to change the order to include the rocker feature to the recliner and it was no issues. The delivery guys were on time and very polite....showing me how the back of the chair is removable. They put the old chair outside in the back of the house for me. We'll be back for sure when we need anything else!

I've bought multiple pieces of furniture from here over time and all of it has been good quality. I like going here because I think they have a cozy setup, the people are nice and everything on display is buyable.

Looks are definitely deceiving here. Once inside, not only are you greeted with a warm welcome, you will also see a unexpected large selection of furniture. The place is well laid out and has great sales people. We were given a fair price and treated with kindness. Well worth a visit.

I purchased a couch from Southworth's Wayside furniture store, 3261 Winsted Rd, Torrington Ct, on October 11, 2017. It cost $1799.99, $2073.77 with tax ,delivery and fabric protection. For the past 5 years it was used very lightly. Without incident, the frame broke and the cushions are sagging. I went to Southworth's Wayside with the Limited Lifetime warranty in hand. They said that covers only parts and not labor. They sent out a repair man who said it would cost $275 to fix the frame and that the cushions were all "shot". He said that type of cushion only lasts for 2 years. The interior of the couch is constructed out of plywood. I didn't want to dump more money into a poorly constructed couch and asked them to come and take it away for me. ( I literally live 2 miles from them.) They said that would cost me $100. At the price of this couch I expected it to last longer than 5 years! Do not buy furniture from Southworth's Wayside Furniture since they do not standby what they sell.

This place never disappoints: a wide variety of furniture items of excellent quality.Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Most of the time will offer you a discount.Unlike other stores most of the items are in stock and ready to be delivered.The delivery crew always tries their best to set everything up as neat as possible.Definitely recommend.

We were in need of a new sectional for our living room for quite a while. I saw Southworth’s Facebook page and all the beautiful selections and quick service and decided to check them out! We met with Dave and he was very helpful and accommodating. We purchased a new sofa and it was delivered 2 weeks later just as promised! We are very happy with our experience and highly recommend Southworth’s furniture for all your furniture needs!! Thanks Dave!!

This may be a bit long winded, but I went to Southworth's to shop for some new furniture. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived! This is amazing gem of a furniture store. The showrooms are fully stocked and get this, you are FREE to roam around the store without someone hovering over you while you shop. Questions are answered swiftly, assistance is offered but not pushed on you! The selections are endless and the team's knowledge of their offerings is extensive.I ended up purchasing a Couch with recliners at each end and two chairs. Due to COVID and supply chain issues, the chairs took a wee-bit longer than expected; but I was always kept up to date.I cannot express my gratitude to the delivery team. These men delivered my furniture in two deliveries because the couch arrived before the chairs. Each time they came into my home, they made me feel as though I was their only client that day. Their focus was placing the furniture carefully in their intended places with my full satisfaction. I live in a town house, there was not ONE complaint about the amount of stairs I have.If you need a new furniture or even if you just want a bit of an upgrade..... take the extra drive to Torrington, you will NOT be disappointed.

We had a great experience. My husband and I have been waiting a long time to finally get a Recliner. We wanted one that we could enjoy for years to come. We decided to go look here instead of going to a big furniture store. Shop local! So glad we went here. Selection was great with many styles. Professional and friendly help. They wrapped it up for us and helped load it in our vehicle. Highly recommend!
