“It's hard to imagine a more giving nonprofit than Kings Closet in terms of dealing with the needs of those that would otherwise go without basic needs like clothing and personal hygiene products.There are things in the background that Kings Closet does for the greater Torrington community that people may be unaware of. I have received help form this nonprofit organization in the past.I am extremely grateful for their help. Now that I am in a better position in life it's my honor to give back.Whenever and whatever I can.I think it's equally important to not just receive but to give when you can. This nonprofit is extremely gracious and always uplifting.I want to publicly thank Kings Closet for their support in my time of need.”

“One of the few Goodwills that is large, clean, and had some quality items. The aisles were wide and organized.Scored an LL Bean fleece for $10. Saw a pair for LL Bean duck boots for $15. There were a bunch of brand names for cheap.The cashier was friendly at checkout. They don't have bags so I recommend bringing your own or just carrying your stuff out. All on all, definitely the best Goodwill I've been to and I've been to quite a few.”

“Honestly, one of the best thrift stores I've been to in awhile, had modern and older style clothing, something truly for everyone. The prices were entirely amazing, not overpriced at all! I found so many articles of clothing that I fell in love with. Me and my friend loved this store so much. The owner is amazing and entirely friendly, she talked to us for awhile and we learned about her adorable dogs. I honestly would go back just to talk to her, she was super sweet!”
