I buy almost all of my work clothes from there as they are so reasonably priced! especially on DOLLAR DAYS and HALF PRICE DAYS! I also feel it’s important for the community to know that Valley Thrift has continued to support local charitable work in very significant ways. They generously donate to our work multiple times each year. Most recently, they sponsored over 100 Thanksgiving baskets for families in need, in addition to providing financial contributions that directly support our local programs. Those baskets helped ensure that many families in Winsted were able to gather around a full holiday meal.

While pricing decisions are made by the store’s management, I can personally attest that their contributions have had a real and tangible impact on local families. The generosity we’ve experienced from them has been consistent and meaningful.”
