Staff was very kind, especially Isaac. He was very informative about the Macbook I was thinking of purchasing and how it would help me as a student. Everyone was very communicative and apologetic towards the wait time (it was a very busy day), and overall was very helpful and kind :)

I got a new phone this morning at the Trumbull Apple Store and had a very good experience. Minimal wait time and a great sales person-Akeira. Very professional and courteous and she went over and above in helping me with the new phone, features, etc.. Thanks Akeira!

Had an appointment for 3, showed up 15 minutes early and have been waiting for over an hour just to get someone to talk to me. The young lady next to me had one at 3:30 and at about 4 a worker told her she was next. Horrible customer service and nobody has even asked me what i’m doing.!

I went to the store for a battery replacement in my 14 Pro Max. As soon as my battery dropped below 80% I started having charging issues and battery life was severely reduced. They would not work on my phone because of a liquid detected error message. I told them I’m an IT manager and see this all the time. There are tons of forums - including on apples site - and it’s usually resolved with a restart. A manager with many years of experience told me she never heard of liquid detected in charging port without liquid actually being detected and it’s too dangerous to work on. As an IT manager with lots of experience with Apple products I can’t possibly believe this. The Apple website states it requires service, but the manager says too dangerous to work on.
Had she just said sorry that’s just policy it would have been fine. Ultimately the only option was to buy a new phone. I believe it was an attempt to persuade me into buying a new phone.
I will add that the tech was really nice and the manager was professional speaking to me. But either the manager is somehow unaware of an issue that has countless forums dating back several years or I was lied to. Either way, I would not return.

2 stars because I was treated well at my original appointment, but I am frustrated. I made my genius bar appointment for a new iphone battery. they didn't have it, but said they could order it. I told them I was traveling the following week with my elderly mom and wanted to replace battery so I didn't get lost if phone died. I was told items usually arrived within 3-5 days. Battery did not arrive until 10 days later, night before I had to drive 5 hours + to a wedding/family trip. When I tried to call from my trip to ask them to hold it until I could get there, the woman on the phone basically refused and said the store's policy meant they would only hold it for seven days. (was also really hard to get anyone on the phone) I was just looking at the email they sent and it says to let them know if you can't make it so they can hold the part! I don't understand why they couldn't hold the part until I could get there. Apple Trumbull??
