Attempted to return an item I paid full price for that was not on sale with the receipt and card originally used because the item was defective. The very unprofessional manager whose name was GEORGE/ JORGE proceeded to call me a liar and stated I was the individual who damaged the item because many customers have bought the item but have never returned it. He insisted that he would never sell a defective or damaged item, even though he was not the individual who was the cashier at the time of purchase according to my receipt and further insisted that I was being deceptive. According to simple statistics and probability, there is at least 0.01% chance of receiving a defective item in a batch of 100. I was more than willing to accept a store credit or exchange the item and he refused. I am very disappointed as I have been shopping at this location for a very long time and have never dealt with this kind of unprofessionalism and degradation of character. I will be contacting the corporate office as this is the epitome of what a manager should not be.

Beautiful store with a great selection and pleasant layout. The discounts were better than online and the merchandise was well organized. Jorge was one of the most personable, helpful and knowledgeable staff I have encountered. Great work! ??

Never buy at any Forever 21 store. After get my card cancelled because they kept charging me fees and interest of no purchase they keep charging every month and say"there's nothing we can do for you to stop from charging you those fees. At store nobody knows anything, the manager doesn't even know how to use their system. Ah, they hang up on you when you dispute transactions.

Made an online purchase and the skirts that I bought my daughter were too small, sent my sister to exchange them to this location and the manager as well as one of the employees behind the register were rude AF, they wouldn’t do an exchange for me, they said the card that was used for the purchase had to be given when I wasn’t even returning them. Went to Milford location and had a way better experience the girl in the Milford mall store was great, even the manager helped and was pleasant. They helped me and explained that what was said in Trumbull was inaccurate. I will never use this location again! I work in customer service and I would never treat people the way my sister and mother were treated.

Terrible experience with a "Manager". During these times when we are unable to try on clothes in store , and have to return items that don't fit, they made my simple $20 return extremely difficult. I had my debit card stolen and received a new one. My receipt clearly shows my debit card and pin was used. I needed the refund applied to my new card, which is linked to the same account, but they refused to do so. They wanted to issue a store credit which I did not need, I asked for a manager and the cashier basically said she was the manager and proceeded to mumble something in spanish to her co worker. She was clearly annoyed with me, but I was surprised by the lack of professionalism she displayed. It's much better to just shop on line as they make returns much easier, but this experience has left me not wanting to spend my money with them.

I just started out at Forever 21 because of my two daughters they are they ones that really wanted to shop their it is more for young girl. And it is located in the mall at Trumbull Connecticut.

First of all I’ve never seen the store as messy as it was. I was taking my son shopping and decided to stop in and look for some tops. He picked out four and decided he wanted a hat while we were waiting in line. We were third in line when he went to grab it but I still waited about 10-15 minutes before we got to the register. There was another person scanning merchandise in boxes, apparently not concerned with customer service...As the cashier is ringing the the transaction

I placed an online order to be delivered to the store thinking it would be hassle free and easy to pick up. I called prior to coming in to make sure it would be okay if my boyfriend picked up the package for me without me being there. They assured me over the phone it was no issue and gave me the okay to head down there. Being that we live over 30 min away, I wanted to confirm. Once he showed up this was not the case. Which obviously was very frustrating being that I called in advance. In the end, they wouldn’t give him the package and it was an hour of travel time wasted. Customer service sucks and lack of proper management is obvious. Think twice.
