  Charging scalper prices for figures.
  
  For context:
  Other collector based websites and nearby stores will sell standard star wars the black series figures for the price of 25-26 dollars. FYE will charge you a full 20 dollars more on top of the standard price for their newer arrivals. So you'll be paying greedy Online scalper prices for a figure you can litterally find anywhere else for less.
  
  Even their clearance isn't even clearance, still selling the same figures you can find anywhere else for instead of 25 dollars for 29-30 dollars. (Price will change depending on the figure)
  
  To add (and not confirmed):
  Chances are, their other merchandise is charged the same way. Twice the price of what the manufacturer sets the price for to double on profit. I expect this from 3rd party online stores, not a chain like FYE.
  
  Long story short, a place that used to scream Nostalgia, and good times at the trumbull mall is being lead none other by scammers trying to make a quick buck, but most people aren't that stupid.

  My boyfriend visited this establishment today to buy a vinyl for me. He ended up leaving without purchasing anything because he was being racially profiled by the employee behind the counter & the employee working on the floor at the time. Do better FYE or continue to lose customers. (In addition to your overpriced records) 🫤👎🏾

  Dishonest and Scammy Business Practices!
  I went to FYE for some Christmas shopping and picked up some stuff. At the register, the cashier offered me 10% off by becoming a member. I initially declined, but he insisted it wasn’t a credit card. When I asked if it was a standard rewards program where I could earn points for discounts, he said yes.
  
  However, after signing up, he handed me two pamphlets and casually mentioned it included a $12 monthly membership and a $15 magazine subscription. When I questioned this, he brushed it off, saying it was a free trial and I could cancel anytime by calling the numbers on the pamphlets.
  
  What followed was a nightmare—hours spent on the phone over the weekend calling two different numbers to cancel these memberships I never wanted. I even had to call back because the cancellations weren’t processed immediately.
  
  This was an absolutely horrible experience and felt like a bait-and-switch scam. Beware of their misleading tactics, and shop elsewhere!

  I walked in here because the place had a lot of sales, but honestly, nothing seemed like a true discount. Some of the stuff they offered was either the same price compared to on my Amazon App or Amazon had it a little cheaper. I can wait for Amazon then pay a lot more in person. Overall, though, the place was cleaned and organized and bright in there.

  Do not pay with your debit card. First they constantly beg to sign up for their 10% off first month free subscription, and you have to tell them no 5 or 6 times. The employee told me I was entitled to 3 free magazines and I thought nothing of it. A month goes by and I have been charged for 3 magazine subscriptions 3 times, with a fraudulent telephone number in the bank statement. These people are begging for money and stealing from you when everything in the store is already incredibly expensive. Do not recommend this trash beggar store

  The woman working at the register (wore a hair covering and was a person of color) said that she was going to give me 10% off on my purchase for free and then only till after purchase makes me aware that I’m signed up for fye vip membership and the free trial ends in 3 days. Do not give any information to cashier, no phone number, no email, no driver's license nothing. Scam. She needs to be fired or if this is management enforcing this behavior the Better Business Bureau has already been notified.

  Don't give them your email when cashing out and don't pay with card because they will sign you up for a membership where you will pay monthly. It's hard to cancel it because they will continue to bill you even after you call them. Please be safe.

  Stopped by the Trumbull FYI to get a gift. The manager John was super knowledgeable and helpful! They had great selections of all different stuff!! Would recommend 10/10

  Great selection and very clean store. Staff is very knowledgeable and kind. Will shop here very often. This is the store to go to for anime and unique collectibles. Funko wall is amazing.

  Do NOT let them trick you into signing up for the backstage pass. Not only will you be charged monthly without your knowledge, but you will also be subscribed to magazines which will be another battle to try and cancel. Cancelling the backstage pass was hard enough. I'd avoid this place

  The best selection of anime, Disney, collectibles, funkos, clothing, and other fun stuff. Great music and movie collection too. Staff is top notch and knowledgeable.

  My gf bought a bag of candy and was signed up for the backstage pass without her knowledge. After reading other reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence. Predatory scammer at the register shouldn’t be working there. “Just your phone number for a discount” ya ok.

  The service there was great all the employees were very nice! ?I took my son, who was looking for some five nights at freddy's plushies. At first, he was sad that he couldn't find anything until we went into the fye and found a lot of five nights at freddy's merch, and we found 2 of the unreleased five nights at freddy's plushies so we had to buy them ?✨️
