Hot topic in Trumbull mall is always nice to visit. The employees are nice and know me right away as a regular. They even pointed out a Chase funko pop as they know I collect them.

My kid loves the store they had just what she was looking for and even though they had a major problem with the credit card processing machine on a Sunday, the entire staff got together to resolve it and get us out of the store in a timely fashion

Wow, what a nostalgia trip.Aside from the modern sign and slightly higher amount of anime merch, this place really does still look like the gothic Hot Topic of old. Gates in front, dim lighting, black concrete floors, the whole package. Honestly my favorite location. People who think it's too dark don't realize that's the whole charm haha. Such a shame I'm not able to go often as this location is far from me.
