I’ve given this place chance after chance for a couple years now. I’m sitting in my car in the parking lot writing this review as I’ve just left for the last time. I’m obviously treated so differently from others and have been since the first time I’ve came. That should have been enough to not return. 4 days after my gel manicure, 2 of my nails had chipped polish. I went in today to get them fixed. The lady accused me of breaking my nails and that it’s my problem without even looking at my nails first. When I showed her that my nails were still in tact and the polish was in fact chipped, she got so annoyed and aggressively started getting the polish off. She had someone else paint my nails. I looked at my nails and I could see my nail bed, which means there was barely polish on my nails to cover. It was obviously much lighter than my other nails. When I asked for one more coat, she got annoyed. On top of that, I thanked her and she completely ignored me. The 2 ladies were obviously talking about me too. Listen, it’s NOT my fault I paid for a gel manicure and within 4 days, 2 of my nails started chipping. I had to travel back to the nail salon to get them redone and I’m the jerk here? I’ve recently tried out a different nail salon in Fairfield called Monday Nails, who treat me like a person and do a spectacular job.

Unfortunately at this salon they use the machine to fully remove gel. This is so bad for your nails. This makes your nails not grow and break. They should be taking only the top layer off then wrapping them with Acetone then scraping off the remainder. I went here a handful of times but when I noticed nails were not growing I had to leave. Now that I went somewhere else my nails are growing again. Most of the people here are nice however, I just feel they need to change their removal process.

I will never go here again. I came in with round nails and was not asked so I assumed I would come out the same but came of with flat nails that look horrible and one that is not even symetric. The manicurist continued to push me to get Gel even though I told her multiple times that I had before and it left my nails destroyed and now that I think about it - it was she that removed them and did a terrible job. It has taken me 5 months to get my nails back in shape and she filed them down to nothing. My nails look horrible. I did go to one manicurist a couple of weeks ago and she did a wonderful job but I can't remember her name. I will go to Blue Lotus from now on. Very disappointing.

I love ran! My mom, sister, and grandma have been going here for more than 8 years and every single time they are sweet, caring, and gentle. I love Jesse and she can do anything and everything I want, by showing her a picture!

Very clean nail salon with average pricing. I felt like the pedicure was rushed, just a couple strokes on front of legs with the scrub. I had excess polish on skin of toe that I had to remove myself and had to clip corners of large toes where nail edges were digging into skin. Multiple people doing nails so you have to tip individually and end up tipping more.

Literally the worst place ever to get your nails done. Charged over $100 for a manicure and pedicure gel. Basic gel. They didn’t even clean the nails. No soaking and the cuticles are still there. They only painted down the middle too. The sides are left untouched. Rushed from the moment you walk in. And it’s not even 24 hours later and the nails are chipping and bubbling. The owner I’m guessing “ Annie “ starts harassing for a tip before you even pay. 0 patience.. learn to paint nails and not have them chip the next day. Then the tip will be better. Just rude and horrible. Don’t waste your time listen to the reviews… better to throw your money out the window

Too pricey for the quality. I came for a uv gel nail and it’s not even a week that it starting to come off. ????????

I have been going there for 3 years + and I love this salon. I have a technician that I love but they are all wonderful. They are relaxed and helpful and treat you really well. the salon is very clean and I have never gotten an infection like I have in other salons. The gel manicures are the best I have ever gotten and they last a long time. they take pride in their work and want you to be happy. It's worth the extra money that you pay for this service. everyone is also happy to see you and the salon is lively and a happy place which is contagious!!!

They are so warm and welcoming, you won't go wrong with a technician you get all professional and experienced

This salon pushes you to get a UV gel manicure without telling you the costs or potential health hazards. Offers massage as part of the service and then asks for separate fee for that. Not transparent with costs. Pedicure was average.

Avoid this place at all costs. I went in for a basic male manicure, and it was the worst experience I have ever had getting my nails cleaned up. I do not go to nail salons for color or designs, so it means that I go solely for the basic clean up and nail health. That is the most basic thing that can be done at a nail salon and any technician should be able to do this with no problem, but Jesse at New Ran nails in Trumbull, Connecticut is completely incompetent when it comes to nails. There was no soaking of the nails to make it easier to file and clean up the cuticles. Because it was not soaked Jesse made me bleed while I was getting my nails cleaned up. Jesse would also aggressively grab and bend my hand while doing the manicure. I asked if I could have a clear top coat to protect the nail from the beginning, but I had to ask for it another two times because she kept ignoring me. None of the nail techs in the salon had anyone was their hands which is something I have never seen or heard of. Once Jesse actually did put the clear top coat to protect my nails she did not put a base coat to help it adhere to the nail and the top coat had dust from the filing trapped under it and the thickness of the top coat was uneven. One side of some of my nails would have a puddle or top coat while the other side of the same nail barely had anything covering it. I also saw a woman take out the trash with her bare hands and then go directly to massaging another client with her same bare hands without washing them, which I think is pretty gross. At the end of my manicure I tried to tell another one of the workers about my issue with the top coat but he essentially ignored me and just slapped another layer of top coat on top which did nothing to remedy the issue. Also, I called from the parking lot to make sure that I did not need an appointment and that I could be seen immediately if I walked in, which I was told that I could. However, once I went in they made me and the other person I came in with wait over 30 minutes to be seen even though there were people free and open seat. Not to mention, people without appointments walked in after us and were seen before we were. This was the day before Easter and we were the only people that weren't greeted with a "Happy Easter!" and were engaged with conversation during our services. I am not sure if this is because we were the only Black people in the salon, but the service all around sucked. Even if it was race related and I was white, I still wouldn't even think about going back because their technique is absolutely awful and just made my nails worse. The top coat was chipped and peeling literally an hour after the service. I have never had a worse manicure than this. To top it all off when I was about to leave after paying one random nail technician turned to the person I came in with and essentially said something along the lines of how I didn't tip so they were supposed to tip on my behalf. I always tip the people that give me my services but Jesse was absolutely horrible and made me bleed so she did not deserve a tip. She drew blood and it is not a thing to tip your phlebotomist. This place is absolutely the worst and I hope nobody ever trusts them with their nails. You can find much better for much better prices with better staff, for better nails try: 1. Beautiful Nails in Stratford, Connecticut 2. Posh Nails in Darien or Westport, Connecticut 3. Pretty Nails in Stratford, Connecticut

Very disappointed, I'm done going here. For the price my pedicure massage was a quick couple of rubs. The place I have been going to in monroe is a full 10 minutes for a regular pedicure. In fact a couple of them are 10 minutes. I waitress and look forward to my massage and pedicure. I told them I needed my eyebrows done and they couldn't do it and was rushed thru my gel manicure because a 5:30 appnmt came in and she didn't want to wait. If they couldn't take me they should have said no when I walked in. I have gel polish on much of my skin around my nails and im not sure if she skipped out on axtra coat of top coat to cut time but they do not look as shiny as usual.. She did not cut my cuticles because this customer kept saying ill come back later in the week who made an appointment. I was a paying customer too and it was not cheap to be passified and rushed thru on what I wanted to be a relaxing time.Services: Pedicure

My family and I went for pedicures and we had the best experience. We enjoyed the sea salt pedicure and the staff was amazing! Fantastic place
