“My name is John and I am a resident at the Cochegan house. I feel that it's important to shed some light on this place. When I came from jail I thought that this place would be cold and lifeless just like jail. I could not have been more wrong. Cochegan house is warm and alive and caring. All my needs have always been ment. After Two days of work I was bought a pair of boots. The director Courtney takes her clients serious. There has not been a time that I couldn't talk to her about a problem. She is strict but fair and she is a real person. Not Robot like , which can be a normal for places like this. even better than everything else is the staff that Courtney has hired. These guys feel like a family here. My case manager Chelsea always has time to listen. She tells me the truth but never hurts my feelings. She always has something motivating to talk about. My life here is better because of her. Brandi, the Resume specialist, is the reason I got hired at my job. She is quick with a conversation and a smile. Just having her around makes me happy. Then there is the case manager Matt. He is not even my case manager and I feel like I can always go to him. The night time girl Cynthia just completes the package. Kind and easy to talk to. I write this review because sometimes people get upset and say what they dont mean. I needed to shed some light of how great Cochegan house is and how worthwhile Courtney is as a director. I would recommend this place to everyone!”

Plus they just got rid of someone that people were having problems with behind the deli so I want to say if anybody sees this to the people that left, please come back they are good now! And I'm sure the people that work there are very sorry for the inconvenience that had happened and they are more than welcome to have all of you back! “I got a beautiful 2-piece chest of drawers that needed a (very) little repair for only $25. There are a few scraps and dings, but they don't affect how the chest works and are fixable. The repair only took some slates, wood glue, and a friend to put one of the draws back together. There were plenty of pieces that didn't need to be fixed, but I was spending someone else's money so I chose based on price. You'll also get very good service from the people at the store.”

They truly care and will help you with filing proper paperwork, speaking to lawyers on hand & learning about mental & physical abuse. I learned a lot from the women that work here & feel like I have a great support system.
