Always a great place to see shows! Unfortunately, they need more shows like they just had this past weekend. John Waite and Vertical Horizon were awesome, but we need more than just the occasional top acts that is the one negative I have of the Wolf Den.

What a great experience! While it may not be the biggest venue, a free show with high quality sound, comfortable seating and a great view wherever you are is a great offering! Oh, and Queensryche killed it just as expected!

I had an excellent time here watching the band Raise Your Hands (Bon Jovi tribute). The energy of the band was great, would definitely go see them play again.
The sound was better than other venues I have been to. Bass was turned up a tad high, the camera aimed at the stage shook. It was a very crowded night, all the seats were taken and the floor was packed.
I appreciated the waitress coming around asking if we needed drinks. Staff were also nice, I had no issues getting in. The show was for 8:30, I grabbed a spot at 7:15. The wolf den provides free live music, you can’t expect them to give you free premium seats, especially for popular bands.

I’m giving one star for the lack of communication from staff for people who stood in the line to get in..
The music is always great, but last night the experience of getting in and some of the staff was very disappointing. My husband and I got in the line at about 5:15 pm and waited till they let everyone in which was about 7 pm. When we got to the entrance the women gave us a wrist band and said there are no seats available to anyone it is standing room only. So that was a lil alarming because our place in line was not that far back. When we got in everyone was upset and irritated because what we were being told was that all the seats were reserved by “hi roller hosts and their guests”. We were told by a very rude security women that “you cannot stand here”, “ please get off the stairs” “I’m sorry I already told you that you cannot stand here”. We were told the only place we could stand was in the floor. Normally we would not mind that , but we just stood for two hours in a line. We ended up going outside the perimeter of the wolf den to stand against the railing. As the band started their show and throughout we were watching to see if the reserved chairs were filled. Throughout the show a lot of reserved chairs remained empty. Such a shame and disappointment with how all this was handled. I wish they would have told us that this was going to be the process as we were all standing in line for two hours. We have been to wolf den many times prior and this was not the process.

We enjoy most of the shows but have found that not only are the booths reserved but seating can also be reserved. All comes down to how much you spend or who you know that is a high roller, so depending on the show you might not get a seat. This seems to be more prevalent lately. Might end up elsewhere.

Love, love, love the wolf den. I have seen so many awesome, free concerts there. Last night was Robby Krieger and band mates channeling The Doors. Phenomenon!!!

We saw the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at Christmas time and it was excellent. We sat in the chairs behind the booths and it was really great. Tip of advice - don’t leave an open tab with the waitress it’s impossible to flag the same one down twice. It was on time, sounded great and was an amazing show
