SO I WENT TO PICK UP MY DOG AFTER HER BEING THERE FOR 7 DAYS...SHE WAS SCHEDULED TO BE GROOMED THE AM THAT I WAS PICKING HER UP...THEY DECIDED TO GROOM HER THE DAY BEFORWE BECAUSE THEY WERE OIVERBOOKED FOR THAT SATURDAY EVEN THOUGH I HAD HER SCHEDULED 3 WEEKS EARLIER...ALOS HER BACK PAW WAS BLEEDING...THEY SAID SHE BROKE IT...I THINK THEY CUT IT TOO LOW...DRIPPING BLOOD NO ATTEMPT TO TAKE CARE OF IT...THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I USED THEM FOR BOARDING WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMEND THEM EVER...HORRIBLE EXPIERENCE!!!

I recently brought my two dogs, a 12-year-old German Shepherd and a 1-year-old Husky, for grooming. Initially, I was pleased with the service, as the staff seemed willing to help with my dogs who typically don't care much for the groomer.
However, when I received a call saying they were done about an hour later, I had mixed emotions. The charge was fair, and I paid in cash to avoid the surcharge. But upon picking up my dogs, I was very disappointed.
My Husky came out with one of his nails chipped, a side of his toe bleeding that he couldn't stop licking, and his fur still damp. It honestly looked like they didn't even blow dry or brush him. My German Shepherd's nails were still very long, and she was also very wet with chunks of hair falling off her.
I expected a much better grooming experience for my dogs and hope this feedback helps improve your services. As for me I will definitely not be coming back.

We just picked our dog up today and we were treated so poorly over a form of payment. Not only was the staff rude they are also charging their customers a surcharge (sign posted at desk stating this) to use a credit card (which is illegal in the state of Connecticut)
When we were given the total due we asked if we could pay cash and informed the woman that we only had a one hundred dollar bill. She said she couldn’t break the hundred, but we could pay with a credit card. Okay fine, but then she said that because we needed to use a credit card they were going to charge us an additional 4%. When we questioned this policy they were so rude to us in front of other customers. They told us “feel free to go use an ATM somewhere and come back” They then proceeded to rudely tell us that next time if we are back on Monday don’t bring such a large monetary bill.
As a business you really should be better prepared, at the very least don’t charge your customers more because you are not. Also, just a suggestion but you really should train your staff to be a little less condescending and a lot less rude! There are plenty of other groomers in town who probably would have happily taken that hundred dollar bill, you are definitely not the only game in town!
As a courtesy I’ve copied from the state of Connecticut website the ruling on charging customers a surcharge for using credit cards below. I think you better do your research before someone reports you!
***Connecticut law as amended by Sec. 28 of Public Act 24-142 prohibits a business from charging a customer a surcharge, which is any additional charge or fee for using one payment type (usually credit card) over another payment type (usually cash). However, the law does allow a business to offer a cash discount.

We had a dog for 15 years that we brought to Fancy Feet and we loved it there. We recently got a new puppy and tried to find a new pet salon and figured we would try the Lazy Dog. We brought our new Shorkie puppy here and LOVED it. They did an absolutely phenomenal job, discussed expectations with me, treated him with care, and he came home happy as ever. Your dog is definitely safe here and will come home cuter than they left. Absolutely recommend this place!

I had my pup groomed there. They clipped his neck and armpit and never said a word to me. I got him home and noticed he was bleeding. I made an appointment with his vet thankfully the cut wasnt infected since I kept it clean and covered because the vet couldnt see him for 12 days. Unfortunately he had an ear infection which the vet said dont bring him back there. I have taken my pup who has anxiety very bad for years to the same vet in Mass but we moved here and I was hoping to find another wonderful groomer. But now I am scared to take him anywhere. Thankx
