It's booze. If they ask you for a receipt, it's merely a formality. Nobody ever returns it. Friendly staff.

Good selection of all kind of liquor. The staff is friendly and always willing to help you to find what you need. They also suggest something similar to your choice if you want to try something new. Definietelny good place to stop by if you need some percentages.

Vernon Circle Package is a great little wine & liquor store, and only a stone's throw from a few different supermarkets, so you can get your groceries and then grab a bottle to pair with that night's dinner. Sure, it's a small store and has a more limited selection than some of the monster stores in the area, but sometimes that's what I prefer. I don't have to wander aisle after aisle, scanning shelves for what I want; and I don't have to spend half a lifetime trying to decide between a hundred different bottles of Riesling. They have all the staples, and there's usually a good selection of new / showcased wines at the front of the store, which they change out pretty regularly. Vernon Circle is my go-to place when I need to stock up on essentials without any highfalutin hassle.

Eh...it's OK. It's pretty small, so the selection is limited for just about everything, but if you dont have something specific in mind youll probably manage. The prices weren't great...some were pretty good, others not so much. They also had "State Minimum" price signs, but then I found the same thing for less down the street at M&R (which I went to immediately afterwards in search of a particular scotch). Maybe that sign doesn't mean what I always assumed it did? The people working were very nice, and there's plenty of off street parking. Not sure what else to talk about... They don't sell "singles".
