My son purchased a 2008 red Rav4 in November of 22 for approximately $8000. About 3 months later the fuel tank started to leak because of rust. I was not in country, at the time because I was overseas service in the armed forces. I told my son to take it to the seller an they can advise what to do. Came to find out that the dealer said it was not their issue anymore. My son decided to sell the car and after inspection by a mechanic it was found that the frame was rotted and the car was a safety hazard. The car was sold for parts resulting in less than $2000. I have told my son that the $6000 was his cost of real life experience. My question to the owner and the young lady that works in the office. How do you sleep night knowing that you “ROBBED “ a hard working kid $6000, while his family is protecting your freedom and the right to swindle unsuspecting Customers.

Purchased a van and 24 hrs later started having problems, to the point where the van wasn't drivable at all. John refused to help at all claiming that things happen all the time to vehicles. He also stated that he had done a check of the van and nothing was wrong with it. I saved the ad that he had posted and it stated that the van was "Perfect Inside And Out." We were from another state so bringing it back to him to have it looked at wasn't an option since the van wasn't drivable and having it towed would have cost a small fortune. Needless to say, just as we thought, he straight out told us that he wasn't paying for repairs and then stopped answering our emails.

Total disaster. Bought a 2000 Outback for $3500 dollars for my daughter. I was told the timing belt was replaced, which it was not. Car overheated on the drive home and cracked the heads. Vernon replaced the heads and supposedly the timing belt. Timing belt broke after driving 70 miles after getting it home. It was replaced under warranty. After that I realized two of the brake calipers were frozen. I was told by John the vibration was from tire balancing, which he had done. I had to replace the caliper because the vibration got worse. After I replaced all 4 calipers the left rear strut broke because the spring seat was so rusted. I replaced the rear struts and discovered a corroded brake line that was leaking. Mind you this car is for my 17 year old daughter. Less than 500 miles have been put on it since it was purchased last year. There is also a broken wire in the harness causing the gauges including the speedometer to go haywire then drop out. John had said it was the battery, he replaced it and the problem continues. I have spent over $600 trying to get this car road worthy but it is a deathtrap. I cannot let my daughter get behind the wheel. The control arms and hubs are also rusted through. I had sent John pictures while I was doing the brakes which of course were ignored. This man should not be in business. Supposedly this car had less than 70,000 miles. I'm now sure it reads that because of the shorted wire in the wiring harness.

I bought a Subaru Forester, when I left the dealership i noticed a chip in the windshield where it had writing to cover it up, I call John immediately and he said he would fix it until he was told by the repair shop that the chip couldn't be repaired and the windshield needed to be replaced .

I bought a car from this dealer a little while ago being told that everything was looked over and the car was in great condition only to head to work the next day and find the water pump I was informed was recently replaced pouring coolant all over the ground as well as a plethora of other problems, the car has since been fixed but not with out adding close to another 2,000 dollars into this 7,500 dollar car, i would not purchase any other vehicle from this man again.
