We have seen Dr. Cotthaus for many years and this visit was with Dr. Nedder who was great at diagnosing my Louie's sore back. I am always happy with the care my pets receive from this practice. “Dr Roy and her whole staff always make our visits feel as if we're part of a family...a home away from home, when my furry baby needs a little tune up. The travel time to Tolland is worth it, compared to being charged an arm and leg and then pressured to over-vaccinate, etc, at other vets. “Where can I give 10 stars? We own 2 big dogs, 1 of whom is terrified of vet check ups from previous experiences. The veterinarians at Beckett are so wonderful & in tune to dog behavior- they allowed our pup to be seen in a separate barn area to avoid having to see other dogs in the main area & be in a quieter space for his fear. They successfully were able to check him/ get some lab work done quickly and efficiently. Dr. Webb is fantastic and even though we recently moved and are 30+ minutes away from this vets office we will continue to make the drive here for their service, that is well worth it! Thank you!”
“The staff of MVC are awesome. I find that the doctors are knowledgeable and care about my pets. I was very impressed with Dr Laufer. She examined Sasha on 01/20/2026 and noticed her bumps throughout her body. I find the doctor was more thorough and measured her bumps. I was concerned with my last couple of visits but the doctors were not concerned at the time. I think measuring the bumps made sense so we can monitor and compare for her future visits. Thank you to Dr Laufer for being more thorough and helping us get through Sasha’s visit. I hope to see Dr Laufer on our next visit to MVC. ?✌???”

They are friendly, gentle with your pets, and honest. They don't just suggest you have things done to your pets so they make money.
They lay out your options and the cost of each and let you decide pressure free, and they answer all your questions.
I love them, best veterinary clinic I've ever taken my animals to.”
“Excellent practice from the front staff to the doctor. Our cat was treated with love and professionalism. After a horrible experience at another vet, we were concerned of establishing with a new practice. The assistant was caring and loving. We saw Dr. Willis who was so kind and did an extensive assessment where our Cat did not complain at all. I definitely recommend this practice to anyone seeking excellent care for their loved pets.”

“THIS is the place to have your pet put to sleep. I was heartbroken by the sudden loss of my male cat (C), & I waited until after hours to take him in.
It was so nice & quiet, & the staff so genuinely comforting. Yeah, it cost a bit more, but worth every penny. And they took care of everything thereafter for what I thought was a VERY reasonable fee. Bravo Bolton Vet !!!”
