This CVS is better than most others.
The employee at the pharmacy counter Tychelle was kind, courteous, and efficient

This CVS is truly the most inefficient, rude, and disorganized I’ve ever experienced. I’ve waited an hour to pick up a prescription on a regular basis even when it was already filled. Today I waited nearly 45 minutes for a vaccine for which I had an appointment. Avoid at all costs if you can

I was waiting at the drive thru for 10 minutes in Wallingford ct . When it was my turn the girl said closed for lunch then closed the window. There must be a better system than to do that t their guests. It’s so rude. No wonder that location has poor reviews.

Today I called and left a message (the only way you can speak to the pharmacy now) for the 4th month in a row about a regular prescription I take. It is problematic every single time I attempt to order or pick it up. I had a dosage change, so 2 variations of the prescription were in there system. I asked them to please remove the old one. They didn’t, so after ordering online, receiving confirmation, and waiting 20-30 in line (inside or drive-through) I’m usually told it’s not eligible for refill yet (it is) or another issue has occurred. This leads me to having to leave, call, leave a message, wait for a call back, and do the process over again. Today I got a call back from the pharmacist who was so rude that I am still trying to process how I was spoken to. (Badly enough to write a Google review). She was very frustrated, impatient, dismissive—to the point where I had to ask her why she appeared so angry. It was making me extremely uncomfortable. She proceeded to tell me that my message was “nasty”. I was completely taken aback. My message was frustrated—absolutely—but in a respectful, professional, and understandable manner given my experience. I will be contacting higher levels of CVS support to report a the pharmacist, who is supposed to be a trusted and approachable member of the medical community. I will also NEVER go here again. CVS in Cheshire on South Main is much better. They have a lovely pharmacy staff with much shorter wait times. Save yourself the trouble and take the extra ride to a different store.

This is my second time coming to this Cvs. I have never in my life experienced a cashier employee (Lynn) who was so NEGATIVE about the job she chose to work at. I arrived at CVS on 12/26/24 approximately 9:30 am. Lynn had negative comments to say about every question I asked about CVS. I inquired about getting an extra care card because my card fell off my key chain. Lynn response was "it's too annoying to contact the company , they're just going to tell you they're going to do something and not do it". I asked her for the number she repeated her response again, I asked for the number again, then she rudely yelled out the number. I gave her my email address, she told me that my email is incorrect, because the system is not taking it. I asked her if she is entering the email address in correctly or if we can ask someone else who works here to help her out. Her response was" I am the someone else and I know how to do it". Turns out Lynn was entering the email address in wrong. Lynn is extremely negative and should not work at CVS if she feels so NEGATIVELY about a job she chose to work at. However, there is another female employee who was very polite and helpful, I did not get her name, but she was opening boxes in the front, she wears glasses and has a ginger bob short cut hairstyle.

Worst pharmacy in existence. If my 2 prescriptions were sent over together, you had them for the 20 minutes it took me to drove to you, then why was only 1 ready and because you were closing in 2 minutes (I pulled up when it was 5:52 so I was there 8 mins before), you refused to fill the other script? I understand you’re closing but the one tech didn’t have to be nasty about it. She’s rude every time I go there. Also, why did I check the app after closing last night and both WERE ready. Get more compassionate people on your staff.

There's another CVS a half mile from me, but I drive to Wallingford from north Meriden and keep all my prescriptions here. In 10 years I've had maybe 2 staff be unhelpful or rude. Neither lasted. They are very busy, but the store is clean and well-organized and pharmacy and other staff helpful and professional.

The one employee was very courteous, professional, friendly, patient. CVS needs to hire more people.

Very unorganized, always long lines. No matter what time. I think they're understaffed

The store has no outdated meds, food, or merchandise. The store is stocked, and faced. Good employees.

Two years later from the first review:
Covid days are gone. No more long lines, and the technicians are not packed next to each other. But the grumpiness of the technicians remains. The irony of the sign! What an unpleasant place to pick up pharmacy products.
First review: It really could be better! The pharmacy technicians, despite the pandemic, pack next to each other in small areas. Whenever I am there, there is always a line, it is either short or long. The drive thru is better sometimes. Even though it is for something as easy as amoxicillin, it is a big deal sometimes. They just cannot find it even though they texted me to pick it up. Not always, but sometimes it is just exasperating!
