I went to buy two balloons for someone’s birthday. The cashier that checked me out’s name was Linda. I’m sitting there waiting for my receipt. Meanwhile, she’s on her phone. I’m asking her if I’m all set to go as I needed the receipt and it has still not printed She told me I could grab my own receipt while she proceeded to be on her phone at the register. some of the worst customer service I have ever seen.

Horrible service Nov 10th. Three employees (Ladies) arguing who hates working there more. Yelling to each other about there lunch in the toaster oven while at the same time telling customers that one employee is in the bathroom. All this while one register open and a line of at least 10. What has happened to this place? The owner must see this on camera's. 🙄 I know it's just a dollar store but...WOW.

I was at dollar tree, I went to get in the check out @ register 1 as I walked up the cashier looked at my basket ! She was almost done with the customer & I was next . She looked at my basket proceeded to say “ oh my god , he open at register 4 & had no other customer. & then I walked away saying “okay” & there was four other customers going to her register & she DID NOT DIRECT THEM TO GO TO A DIFFERENT REGISTER OR SAY “OH MY GOD” while looking @ their basket! SHE WAS RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL, like excuse me if you don’t want to do your job go home then ….. 🥴🥴 no one needs that kind of attitude. If she is a manager and is that rude to people, then she needs to get fired or find a different job , because clearly she is there just for the title & has no manners and it’s beyond me on how she got that position treating customers that way that’s not how a managers treat anyone(she had on a gray t-shirt & did not have on the uniform . Which I’m assuming she’s a manager if she’s wearing regular clothing). However, the guy @ register 4 greeted me with such kindness & was more polite he such be promoted & given her job to him as manger.

Sorry to be the sharer of possible bad news but until I just recently heard about the Berlin, Ct situation with card scanner I am suspicious that there is a copy cat person at the route 5?Wallingford/Meriden location also. I recently went there and later had a charge on my card that wasn’t dollar tree but was in a location within that plaza and then a few weeks later I had a charge on my card from target for about $75 and I can’t remember the last time I been to target. Mind you this happened after I was at the location I stated above. Be careful of that location also.

I love this dollar tree in Wallingford but I do not like the assistant manager at night named Alene Lewis. She is rude and unprofessional. Please don’t go to this store because she’s never professional with other employees or customers. She stood around every time I came in doing nothing for the store. She also likes to retaliate if she don’t get her way with your man! There is nothing better for me to do while she flirts with the other employees and customers is let the company know. Then she calls your man to the office in a sexual way. Watch your man ladies cus she will try and get your man behind your back then smiling in your face. I have so many more unprofessional situations she has done but no one is gonna listen or delete your posts. Then she stopped my man from working at another store because she is hating. All the other employees are excellent and the manager Simon is the best!!!!

The employee Brandon was amazing he went out of his way to get me a product I was calling around for. He even went to opening boxes for me. Also the manager here is always helpful and a great team leader thank you guys for making my trip here a great one.

I really enjoy the atmosphere of the cheerful people who work there. Shaggy is an awesome person to help me when looking for something in particular. The staff are most definitely 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

I used to work at a dollar tree and I don't know what happened today but if my manager saw the 40+ people waiting to check out and then someone closes their register making people want to leave? My manager would have fired all of us I don't know who's running this store but it's messy unorganized there's open unstocked boxes at checkout it's a mess you need a better manager that's going to actually manage your store because this entire mess gave me and I'm sure plenty of others not only unnecessary irritation but a FAT panic attack.

I found just about everything I was looking for. The Cashier was a very nice young man who pleasantly informed me that some items now cost more than $1.25.

Good customer service and variety. Not a huge fan of the plus part. But even those items are more affordable than regular grocery store.

I purchase all my Hallmark greeting cards at the Dollar Tree for a dollar! They also have a very good selection of candy. The Manager is super nice and so are the employees. They even provide free paperbags when you make a purchase.
