Service department failed to properly bleed air after replacing power steering pump. I contacted the Manager and he didnt do anything to correct the situation. Thankfully my brother is a mechanic and was able to assist us with this situation. I would NOT recommend going to this Dealership for service.

My recent experience with Executive Dodge Jeep and Ram dealership in Wallingford left me thinking if there were honest dealerships in the U.S.
Recently I had my 2015 Dodge Charger SE 3..6 towed to the dealership because it over heated and white smoke came pouring out. The following morning I was sent a text message (NO PHONE CALL) by the service Rep that my vehicle needed a radiator and an oil cooler and that parts and labor would cost $3,300.00; money I did not have.
So I decided to pay the diagnostic fee of $212.00, which included SHOP SUPPLIES and taxes, and get the vehicle towed back to my house and attempt to sell it in its current condition.
Once I had the vehicle at my house I opened the hood thinking I was told it needed a radiator because it had been damaged and was now leaking as the result of the over heating. To my surprise I could not visually see anything wrong with the Radiator. So, I decided to conduct my own pressure test and pressurized the coolant system with my pressure tester tool. I immediately identified the burst of white smoke and coolant came from the heater hose T-junction in the back of the engine. I purchased the an OEM heater hose for $120.00 and installed it my self.
I then started the vehicle and after a few minutes saw the vehicle was getting close to overheating. I shut the engine off and noticed the top radiator hose was STONE COLD! Uhm! The following day I purchased a $25.00 thermostat and installed it. Car has been running and not overheating for over a week now. It is apparent to me that the service Tech, or whoever, did not do the basics such as pressurize the coolant system because in that estimate of parts and labor there was noting about the $120.00 heater hose that failed.
The morale of the story is, DEALERSHIP MISDIAGNOSED VEHICLE EITHER ON PURPOSE OR INCOMPETENCE. Had I authorized the repair, I would have certainly paid for something I did not need and would have incurred additional cost because at some point the Tech would have realized the heater hose failed and the thermostat was not opening.

My car’s backup camera was not functioning, however it began working the day I was scheduled to take car in for repair. After checking all wires and connections and not finding anything wrong I was not charged for this appointment. Everyone was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. While I have free oil changes where my car was purchased, I will bring my Dodge Charger to Executive for all future repairs and oil changes.

We had a great experience purchasing our Jeep from executive. The sales team was extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the vehicle and its features and just easy to work with. They gave us top dollar for our trade and worked with us to get the deal done. Overall great experience. Thanks to mark and Tyler for streamlining the purchase process for us and accommodating our unique needs.

The general manager admitted to selling us an extended warranty that was useless and didn’t cover us when the brand new van we bought blew the motor directly after they serviced our van with 60,000 miles, all service was done at executive and maintained to their recommendations. Will be going to the dmv, bbb, department of consumer protection and with the attorney generals office. If you’ve ran into this with them as well I’d advise contacting the same departments

If anyone’s looking for a new car, go see Mark and his team at Executive Dodge Jeep Ram in Wallingford. The whole process was honestly the easiest, fastest, and most stress-free car buying experience ever. They found me exactly what I wanted, and I was in my new car in less than a week! The experience was so great that a week later my husband went back and decided to get himself a new car too 🤣 Two new cars in two weeks— We’re beyond thankful for how quick and easy it was to work with the team at Executive. Truly such a great experience, we can’t recommend them enough!
