I truly love this store…. Because I recently had the pleasure of meeting Matthew the manager. He was so polite and kind to my mother who has a speech disability. ( it’s not the easiest to understand her ) he didn’t realize how much he made her happy. It is because of people like him. I continue to have faith in humanity. We will definitely be coming back and I will tell everyone I know of what a wonderful store and manager the Wallingford goodwill has. Kindness goes along way.

I look forward to going to my local good will with all the lovely donations I find. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, from the managers like Michelle to the men and women who keep the place well organized and full. Love finding the items I wasn't even looking for. Kudos to the fine staff.

The prices are ridiculous! Found a small rug and they were asking $30. Went to Marshalls and found a bigger one (oh yeah and NEW) for $25. Also saw a used candle for $10??? I don’t know who’s in charge of pricing but they need to remember their stuff is donated and used or pretty soon no one will want to thrift anymore.

This places is ridiculous! Everything is visible old, worn out, dirty and extremely overpriced! The staff is rude and lazy and if you asked any questions the act annoyed! What the hell is going with goodwill? Is definitely going downhill, go to Savers!

I love this store except the fact that employees are allowed to smoke right by the front door. My son and I have asthma and smoke is a big trigger. I’m fine with people smoking but I don’t want to have to walk through it and then cough and hope I don’t have an asthma attack. Maybe they could smoke in the back of the building? Otherwise, most of the employees are super sweet and helpful.

This place is by far the best Goodwill in the area, and I'm a thrifter.. Not only is the merchandise displayed in an orderly fashion, but it is also fairly priced!. Lots of treasures to be found in this particular one. But here is the reason I am taking the time to write a review: the staff, from the management, to the people who take your donations, to the customer service, are friendly and cheerful. It is always a pleasure to come to this particular Goodwill. Wish all of them were like this one.

After loading the car with furniture to donate, pulled up to the drop-off spot only to be told that they are not accepting furniture now, and they pointed to a tiny sign posted next to the door. Why didn't they post this information on their web site???

they have a lot of stuff but theirs more cons than pros. i don’t normally shop at thrift stores since nowadays they’re more expensive for used clothing but it’s nice to look around for sudden deals or vintage stuff.speaking of expensive, this goodwill is very expensive. you would expect good prices but really it’s not worth it. still good to look around.
