The new rental Clear verification process is horrible. I'm a pro member, spend 10's of thousands of dollars a year at this store and it rejected my Clear verification so I've been sitting in the store for an hour now trying to rent a tool.

When today to get pressure treaded lumber. Website says they have what I need. Get there to find 1 piece. I need 15. I can see it
on the top rack. Asked 5 different employees for help. Waited 25 minutes. I help 3 different people load their carts. Ask again! Waited another 15 minutes. Still no one came! I had enough of bad service.

I need to start going to another Home Depot. This Home Depot is going down here the self check out crew (3-4) employees all sitting around not doing anything but making comments about going home at 7:30 over the PA 30 mins before close is crazy but then all joking instead of working helping the line move is crazy why do I have to self scan of three employees have there hands in their pockets
And I get skipped because I'm paying cash! So card customers cut in front of me! Do better! Then the employee that had to go "check the parking lot" at 7:45 (7/14/24) but stops at the exit to just sit there and smoke not within the required distance to smoke! So now I have to breath in your smoke! That is crazy!

Went there today to buy a new mower for my daughter and the guy in the lawn mower section ( Sean) was exceptional!
Came right over and helped us. Even got that flat cart and put the mower on it for us!
Very helpful and patient!
I can't say enough good things about him!
We frequent this location often and have never had service like this before. Please give this man a raise!
Kudos to him being so helpful as soon as the store opened on a Sunday!

Came to the store to find out paint department closed cause main operater out to lunch 1hr fine where r the backups to countinue to run this department. All I got was attitude after standing and waiting for 20mins that no one in the entire store can mix paint that a machine does for you once u señect the color from the card. Unexseptable

My go to home improvement center, typical Home Depot. Must make note, I previously suggested them for countertops. After all was done, I wouldn't get them designed or installed from HD again. There was lots of issues with the process, including the designer(she didn't want to assist once she got her commissions)and install (broken or missing ) but just to run in for soil or light bulbs, ok

Tool rental
First time renting a tool here. Needed a chainsaw and a Field and Brush mower. Not only did they have it, the chainsaw comes with a new chain installed, helmet with face shield, chaps, and extra fuel in a gas can. If I needed more fuel they would provide it. Tools were pristine, tested before I left and worked flawlessly. I was even provided with ramps to load the mower. Pretty speechless. Couldn’t be happier. Guys behind the counter were extremely helpful.

Their "next day" ordering is hugely misleading and they will waste customer time before taking responsibility for their own incompetence.
If an item ships 3 days late I should be able to cancel it 2 days before it ships. I shouldn't be expected to return items that I no longer need that I order for next day delivery. I was already inconvenienced by having to source and pick up the item somewhere else. Refusing to cancel orders, shipping them late and then insisting the customer return to store is incompetence bordering on fraud.

Run of the mill Home Depot. Well organized and easy to navigate the inside of the store. Not like the old days where employees were actually knowledgeable about the products and their uses within their department and the parking lot is a nightmare to navigate but you can get what you need

Went in to buy carpeting. Service desk in the flooring department did not even attempt to acknowledge us even though we stood there with samples. Just kept their head glued to computer screen. I understand they may have been working on something but a simple acknowledgment and I’ll be with you shortly would have been nice. They just lost a sale. Taking g my business to a store that is willing to service its customers.
