Worst place I have ever been to! They not only took over a hour to recalibrate my husbands machine but then charged us double what we were supposed to and then refused to be helpful and refund us the difference so we are now out 101.32! My wife's car alarm was going off intermittently. We brought the car to Mobile Electronics. They troubleshoot the car alarm issue very quickly and did repairs at a reasonable price. Recommend.

I initially called and was dealing with a man named Paul. Turned out he moved. So I get Dennis who says he the owner. I explain I want 3 cameras. One facing toward oncoming traffic, one inside the cabin, and one rear facing. I explained further that we wanted to be able to see what's going on in our vehicle, because we do a lot of valet parking and have had stolen items and times we were sure our car was being driven or used by them. I also explained we want something that will alert us in the event of someone inside our car (valet) so we know what he's doing. I further explained that I want to be alerted if it's hit while parking. It must be able to pick that stuff up, as we just paid over $2,000.00 to repair a ripped down rear view mirror someone did in the Shoprite parkingtube's. I explained I don't want to pay a monthly service. I have wifi cameras within my home I get alerts to throw the motion sensor. No outside company needed.So he fully understood. So he tells me he has the right equipment for the job and I need to leave a $400.00 deposit (total job was $1,600.00 for my two cars to be hard wired. I leave the deposit and about a week and a half I bring the cars in one by one.He then sits with me to help me get into the unit to check the recording. I'm still not realizing it will NEVER EVER ALERT me that anything nafarious is happening. It only highlights while your driving (bumps will alert the camera)Well I could never figure out how he got into the recall so I drove back to his shop. I actually got my unit to connect with the "thinkware" wifi application. I realized at that point 2 things. 1 it will not allow you into communication unless the car is running, meaning you have to sit in the car, connect the app and look at your footage that way.REDICULOUS! I DID NOT PAY $1,600.00 TO SIT IN MY CAR EVERY TIME I VIEW IT!Not to mention it doesn't always connect.In addition, the rear view camera shuts off when you shut the car off which COMPLETELY DEFEATS the purpose of having it in parking mode. I've told him this and was advised he's booked for a week and a half and can't do anything.I complained through a text that I was very very very unhappy with the entire system as it does not work as I had asked for. He just texted back he fully explained that to me. I do not recall him EVER telling me what the equipment would do or I would have said NO find another.He says he's been in business for 23 years (I think that's what he said) and he's never had problems like this before. Sadly he was a referral from Firestone in Middletown so I trusted his judgement and never looked at his reviews.He has low ratings as well as good ones. I am very disappointed in this situation as I faught my husband to use this guy. My husband said he's way to expensive and thought badly about the guy.My husband is rarely wrong. You live and you get burned. I will find another electronic guy and have these inferior cameras taken out and correct equipment installed.VERY VERY VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER. I out $1,600.00.Do your due diligence, always check the reviews and get it in writing what you want so there's no wriggle room when it's said and done.M. Polloni

I have been to Mobile Electronics for a couple of different projects I wanted to do on my vehicle. I use a wheelchair and own an accessible modified van including an automatic ramp. Due to the modifications and conversion, there is a lot of electrical work added to my vehicle that is not common. Dennis and his assistant always take great care of me and their knowledge always shows. A lot of shops refuse to work on my van because of its uniqueness, but not them. I saw a few comments complaining about “high prices.” You will not find a better shop in CT with the honesty and knowledge that Dennis has. Thank you!

Came in for a price and was told I needed way more than necessary. Even when I questioned it was told that was the bare minimum. Felt that as a female they tried to push more money out of me.Got the job I needed done for much less at a reputable installer.

Had a new infotainment system and backup camera installed in my prized, new to me, 2012 Ford Mustang GT. The recommended system works way better than the stock 2012 infotainment system factory installed from Ford. The AV tech team did a phenomenal job on the installation of the stereo and the backup camera. Now I have a digital gauge cluster, a backup camera, new climate controls all on a 6.8” screen that is in red easy to use. The new system is fully Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible. I opted for the wired CarPlay interface to make sure my phone is charging while in use. Will definitely use them in the future for other projects in my other vehicles.

Paul manages an excellent shop. I've used Mobile Electronics for window tint as well as purchase/install for an Android Auto-enabled stereo and backup camera on a 2012 VW JSW TDI. Prices are fair and customer service is beyond reproach. I will be back for my vehicle electronics or tint needs in the future!

I recently had work done on one of my work trucks and was truthfully impressed how professional the staff is. The manager Paul explained everything to me that was needed for my truck as well as the technician performing the work. The price was reasonable and the customer service was top notch. I would definitely recommend them and continue sending my trucks to them.

5 months of headaches lost time and money. Installed a faulty headunit that litup the airbag light. They couldn't even properly reinstall the stock headunit, forgetting to plug the lights for the clock and buttons.They had the car weeks at a time while I Ubered back and forth to work. They left tools in my car and forgot to put the shift lock cover back twice. Finally, after having the car 3 days to turn off airbag light, they gave the car back with a seat belt light on saying it's a bad sensor. They damaged my dashboard digging at the headunit with their tools. Pics to prove it. Stay far away!!!

Brought my truck there because I needed a new Amp. He said, ok we will check everything out for you. Charged me 125 dollars to tell me I needed a new Amp. Now, since having him check, my ac, which was working perfectly fine is no longer working. He signed paperwork stating it was working during the diagnostics test, now it's my cars issues that it's not working. Smdh
