I really appreciate Rite Aid. They have the prescriptions I need and accept Good RX which gives me a huge savings on my very expensive Migraine prescription.
The store is also very clean and the prices are typically lower than other pharmacies like CVS.

This Rite Aid store is terrible. Every time I go to fill certain prescriptions I get EVERY month, they are out of stock. When they do get them in, you have to have them filled at Rite Aids convenience. The pharmacy staff makes you feel like they are doing you a favor by filling or refilling any prescriptions. They have a woman who works at the register that doesn’t speak English, which would not be bad if she could even answer basic questions. She even went so far one day to turn her computer screen around, like I would know what I was looking at….. I got fed up with the pharmacy as a whole and transferred all of my prescriptions to Stop and Shop Pharmacy….. They fill one prescription at 9AM and then another at 4PM . Very inconvenient…..

Went to pick up a prescription 5 minutes before the pharmacy was SUPPOSED to close, and they had all already left. Thanks for wasting my time. Why have a set time to close if you are going to skip out early when people need to get their stuff.

I used to love this rite aid but it's so depressing now. Every time I go there have been many bare shelves. This time they barely had shampoo (kids and $30 bottles). No contact solution on display. Unfortunately probably my last visit.

I used to love this pharmacy, but now is a complete nightmare. They call and text to pick up my medication nonstop, I go to pick it up, and it's either not ready or they lost it. Then, to top it all, they asked me if I picked it up already. Don't they have this information on their system? And then more, they don't refill the medication on the due date, half the time I have to remind them, when the idea of making Rite Aid my pharmacy is so that they do that for the customers. Then, I am a week without my medication, and the audacity of their members to ask, do you really need it for today? Mmmm, let me think. Jeez, what happened to their commitment and professionalism?

The reminder service is borderline criminal harassment. They once called me 7xs in one day, I rushed down and demanded to speak to someone with authority and asked “did someone die? WHO gave you authority to ring my device 7xs in one day?” They said they’d take me off the reminder. I blocked the number, they still call. Now only twice a day. Now the texting good lord, I’ll reply with stop every single time and they’ll reply with I won’t receive anymore communication next day they text me. So I call the store and I told them if I get ONE more, and I mean ONE MORE CALL AND/OR TEXT I will file a criminal complaint of harassment. They put me on hold for 18mins. I called Wallingford police and asked them they said absolutely I could and to document it. So here we are Sunday 4/28 and I just received my 2nd reminder and my first was 4/27 after replying with stop. LEAVE ME ALONE STOP CONTACTING ME!!!!!

Place used to be great with the pharmacist Jeff. Place has gone drastically downhill since then. If you call the pharmacy and press 3, they don't pick up. If you do manage to get someone to pick up they pick up the phone and hang up. If you read other reviews here it's the same thing. Wife had a vaccination scheduled and I called to set one up around the same time. After calling and being hung up on for over an hour on Friday, the woman finally answered and said I didn't need an appointment. Showed up at 12:30 PM. Was 3rd in line. Longer line formed behind me. All 4 people in the pharmacy looked at us and did nothing. The woman in the front waited over 25 minutes while the whole pharmacy ignored the drive thru and the line. After 35 minutes it was my turn. I asked for a flu shot, and they said they were going to lunch at 1:30. I advised it was only 1:05 and my conversation the day prior. She said the pharmacist doesn't want to do it today and to reschedule. I asked where. She said online. I went to Stop and a shop and got right in. Wife went later in day. Woman in front of her waited for an hour after her appointment to be seen. Pharmacist said they were "really busy". It was just the two of them with no one in drive thru. Wife waited 50 minutes for a vaccination. New pharmacist is slow and unwilling to factor bedside manner in with patients. Staff cares only about lunchtime. Will be moving to another Pharmacy after 30 years.

Impossible to speak with pharmacy by phone.In Oct 2023, today I called the store and a received a BUSY SIGNAL.To speak to Rx Center, the instruction is to hit 3. Then it rings, then the voice message comes up, then again hit 3.I went through this for 30 min from 3-330PM.Frustrated, I decided to try again later.From 6-630PM, I wasted another half hour, and still was not able to get my important question addressed by a pharmacist.This is very, very poor customer service.This is not the first time this has happened. My experience is this is far-more common than calling and being able to speak with a pharmacist.Do they just decide to not answer phone for days at a time?It sure seems so.

It is impossible to speak to a pharmacist by phone. There is also, when you can reach one, a pharmacist who has, repeatedly, given me incorrect dates when my Rx will be filled. This is a med I need every day, and the lack of communication, and wrong info makes their Rx dept quite poor.

My first time at this Rite Aid because they had the vaccine I wanted. The store was super clean, beyond my expectation, and products were displayed neatly on the shelves. Staff was efficient and friendly. This might be my go-to pharmacy if I didn't live out of town.
