I was pleasantly surprised with the ambience of this Stop & Shop. The store is very clean, well-stocked, fully staffed, and they even played great music that seemed to put everyone in a happy, dancing mood.The layout of the store made everything easy to find and access. Nothing on my list was out of stock. The selection of fruits, vegetables and meats, offered a wide variety of sizes and prices. My favorite area is always the florist, and Wallingford did not disappoint. It included almost a whole wall full of beautiful arrangements. Kudos to the management for providing such a pleasurable shopping experience!

Worst experience ever, I went to wester union and their worker made me do a app on a stranger phone for me to get my money, that app didn't work and I left without my money, why wester union are using this location for their services? Bad costumers service. I wonder how people with no phone will get their money?

Jessica the gas attendant sucks. on 4/18/22 at 5pm would not let me fill up my red gas can and admitted she kept starting and stopping the pump which caused to me to spill everywhere and loose a few gallons of gas. Manager needs to give her and easier job.

They did a amazing job on our flower arrangement for our beloved dog,! We had to put him to rest we had him for 18 1/2 years in our lives and he deserved the best and they really did a beautiful job thank you !

?great store, love to scan and bag but its very annoying that there is not an express checkout for those that have scanned and can be out quickly. Today, there were 17 people in line in front of me for the bank of self serve registers, I had to wait for close to 15 minutes behind people who were scanning their entire order. One register just for those that took the time to scan as they went would be appreciated. I love to scan as i go because I can generally get out quickly. A long wait after i did all the work is pretty unacceptable.

This is a great Stop & Shop, one of the larger and better locations in the area. The store is older but is usually clean, and well lit. It's well stocked and carries a huge selection of products in every department. The floral department is excellent! They have a huge selection of beautiful flowers and plants. They also have tons of very nice seasonal items. The bakery is also excellent! They have a huge selection of baked goods. All the baked goods looked fresh and tasty. The cakes were well decorated and looked delicious. We've bought cookies here on several occasions and both times they've been fresh, delicious, flavorful, and tasty. The produce is good at this location. Lettuce, watermelons, cabbage, and other fruits and veggies look fresh and are well stocked. The deli is good and clean with friendly staff. The prepared chicken was all hot and fresh. The sandwiches look fresh and are well stocked. I've had a deli sandwich from here and it was fresh and delicious. The salads are well stocked and look fresh with a wide selection. This location has a wide variety of cheeses. The seafood looks fresh and has a wide variety. The meats all look fresh and are well stocked with a huge selection. This location still had a butcher. The dairy section is well stocked. The bathroom is usually clean. There is a Stop & Shop gas station located in front of the store. The staff here are all very friendly, attentive, and helpful. I've seen both the store manager and assistant manager walking around on several occasions, making sure everything is running smoothly, which is always good to see. They seem to be on top of things. Like at any supermarket, check expiration dates, as sometimes there might be an expired item here or there. Also, the store could use a renovation. The floors are worn and cracked in a few areas, and the freezers are pretty old. I'm surprised this location hasn't been renovated, as it's one of the busiest and largest ones in the area. Despite its age, the staff and management do a great job keeping it looking clean and well presented. Overall, this is a great Stop & Shop, one of the better locations in the area. It can get very busy, especially on weekends, but they seem to do a good job handling the crowds. The store is older, but is kept clean, has friendly staff, and a wide selection of fresh foods. This store is well run and serves the area well. 4 stars for the Wallingford Stop & Shop.

Last week I made a deposit at the peoples bank. Apparently someone let their child S*** on the floor. I stepped in it. The women at the people bank smelled it and gaged. I just called to get a new pair of shoes since the S*** won't come out. A little manager wanna-be tole me to clean the again and asked why I wanted a new pair of shoes. THEY HAVE S*** ON THEM FROM SOME BABY WHO NEEDS TO BE TAKE AWAY FROM THE DIRTY MOTHER. FILTHY STORE. Bathrooms should be condemned.I want new shoes.

I was shopping during their morning senior hour, and I saw at least 5 people working there with masks either around their necks or below their noses. Not cool when you have the most vulnerable customers shopping.

Not sure why a large number of employees wearing masks have them on incorrectly (not covering nose)? No one doing anything about it. I will shop elsewhere.

Terrible deliveries made with no mask and no gloves. The charge was $15 plus 5% for the person that delivers your order. There is no receipt with your order and literally $200 of the order did not come. No idea what was charged. And the substitutions for what was ordered were for multiple items. Although these are difficult times the safety of your customers should come first. Also a copy of what was charged should accompany the order. I would never use people again!

I couldn't get Porterhouse Steak and had to go for non-Porterhouse because they didn't get any delivery due to Coronavirus other then the fact that the creepy Sammy The Robot wouldn't stand still for a selfie things we super peachy
