Steep Rock Preserve is a very large and gorgeous park with a number of different hiking trails, including an easy walk or a challenging hike. Trails like the orange trail and the green trail offer great views of the river and mountaintops. Visitors can see a cool stone tunnel, a suspension bridge, holiday house ruins, and interesting rock formations. It is a great day trip spot for the family and a dog friendly area where dogs and kids can swim. The walk is mostly shaded but can be buggy in summer.
