Why does every leave such bad reviews for?! I have never had an issue from Aaron’s before! They have met all my needs and has been working with me for a few years now so I am a regular customer to them. What do y’all expect it’s RENT TO OWN if y'all don’t know what that means then do not rent to own from this store. Now 2ndly if y'all customers didn’t cuss out the mangers in person or over the phones y’all customers wouldn’t be getting the same ass attitude back ever hear the expression
“YOU GET WHAT YOU GIVE” well now you have. If you don’t know you will most certainly find out. Customers If you give out disrespect you will get it right back.
Ive been hearing some of y'all customers getting loud with the mangers and the people who work at the store. Be grateful that y’all receiving furniture I bet you if y’all when else where you wouldn’t be receiving furniture and that your bank accounts would be getting low. If you give respect then you will receive respect. If you customers be disrespectful you will get disrespected back. Simple. Reading these comments yall people especially the ones who has mommy and daddy to save yall is real disgustingly disrespectful watch your tone with people especially with certain ones bc your tone can get ripped tf out of your throat.
Now to the managers and to the people who work at this store thank you for putting up with all these rude people very day and not allowing them to walk all over you. You guys literally deal with rude ass people everyday and I’ve seen and heard it first hand. Great job for keep y'all composures and not stooping to their levels.

If I could leave a negative review I would I rented a kitchen and living room set and was doing ezpay payments on it every week then I changed it to every two weeks they then called me multiple times telling me I’m missing payments when it comes out automatically from my account to only be then told that the payments were only going to 1 item and I was behind on payments when I have all of the receipts. I then in turn returned the items because it was just ridiculous the amount of times they pretty much tried to double charge me for something that was already paid for. Now that everything has been returned today alone they have called me several times only to be told the items were returned and they are still calling me and I’m getting messages about missed payments when I no longer have either item… they need to do better

This place is horrible & so is their customer service.. they delivered this bedroom set & it is completely scuffed up and damaged.. they want one to pay $1000+ for bedroom sets that are used and ruined.. the inside of the drawers had a horrible smell inside aswell.. the middle bed bar is missing a whole piece aswell i called and they were not helpfull..

This place is disgusting. They are extremely unprofessional. Last November I rented a sofa set from them and it came in broken with a hole in it. I called the store while the men where still delivering the set and they managed to negotiate with me. They told me I would only pay $2000 in total. I know it sounds crazy to pay $2000 for a broken sofa but I’m a single mother and it was close to Christmas and could only afford to take one out on credit so I agreed. I wanted my kids to have a place to sit for Christmas. A couple of months later I ordered a washer and dryer. The set had roaches coming out of it. I immediately called and asked them to come take it because I have no roaches in my home. They made me wait almost 2 weeks to pick it up. And I kept finding roaches. Now a couple weeks ago I look at my account. I’m almost $300 short of paying the $2000 we agreed on and it says on my account I owe $4000 in total. I called to ask about our agreement and the manager explained that the price was only valid for the first 3 months. As you could expect I was very disappointed because that was not explained to me when I agreed to the price. Had I known I would have cancelled the order. I understand now I should have known better but I feel I was taken advantage of. I paid almost over $1800 for a sofa that was damaged from day one and is also not mine. To top it off I asked them to take it because I won’t continue to pay for the sofa. They asked me a time to come and I told them 3-7. They came the next day at 11 in the morning. I told them that’s not the time I agreed upon. They then agreed to come today between 3-7 and made me wait the entire day and did not show up. I’ve been calling back to back for 10 minutes straight and no one picks up. This place is a mess and should not be allowed to run business in Waterbury.

This is crazy I ordered a BRAND new dryer had it delivered today and it makes a very loud sound. So I called and they said they would send out a loaned dryer until my new one comes in. Now I did NOT receive a call back like I was told so I called them back only to hear well we don't have another dryer to give you for now until we order the new one. This is crazy. This is how they really operate and treat people. Once I am done paying it off I will Never Rent from them again. Also the delivery drives left all the stuff from the washer and dryer in the middle of my street. Greta job for being unprofessional...

The female manager here needs to be demoted and humbled. First of all told me the technicians don’t bring tools with them during washer/dryer installs (corporate confirmed that was a lie) and left an uninstalled washer in the middle of my kitchen. When I called about it they said “Sorry we don’t have the tools YOU need”. The managers resolution to fix this was to send someone out in 3 days and they couldn’t do anything sooner. Then, when my father came over to do the job AARONS was supposed to do, we discovered that not only did they just dump an uninstalled washer, but they took the power cord that needed to be installed separately with them. When I called the store I of course received no help, and was told they couldn’t send someone with a new one for 3 days. After calling corporate and threatening to cancel the contract someone from Aaron’s magically had the time in their busy schedule to show up. By this time, my dad took the cord from our old unit and did it himself. Oh, by the way, if you miss a payment, they will 100% have the resources to show up at your house daily, even though they couldn’t to rectify their own negligence, and then they’ll attempt to charge you $5 per visit on top of it. Not only that, but the man that came to leave the doorhanger was banging on the glass of the door and jiggling the handle all the while we can hear her laughing VERY LOUDLY on this drivers speaker phone. No, I was never compensated for this incompetency by the way. Corporate does not care and is aware. I purposely make my payments late and blocked the store number because if Aaron’s is anything like rent a center it’ll make her stores numbers look like the trash it actually is to her boss since I’m stuck with them.

I usually don’t like to leave reviews but CURRENT staff at this place should get fired from delivery to customer service. I give them a negative zero. I worked here when I was 18 and bought many furniture from Aaron’s throughout the years but dealing with the current staff is a nightmare. I ordered a sofa that by many people that been in my house stated that it will fit perfectly but the delivery person said no - however my daughter heard one of them telling the other one to say that because was a Friday at 8PM and he wanted to go home, then I went to the store and looked around and was not approached by anyone because they were talking about their relationships and didn’t even cared about any customers at the store (I was the only one with my daughter) also listening to Bad Bunny - not an appropriate music for a business in where parents can walk in at any time with minors. You will think that I was done with that but no. I was charged for something I didn’t received, when I called was told I was all set and took over a week for my refund and no - not because of my bank. Then I started receiving emails and calls stating that I was behind on my payment (every day) I chose to ignored them because I couldn’t believe how bad they were and then finally I answered and the woman on the phone thinking she was smart stated that I never dealt with her after I expressed my frustration about everything that happened stating that she was going to fix my account ONCE AGAIN - apparently she didn’t read anything before calling me because as soon as I said that she was calling for a couch I never got delivered she didn’t took no time to verify it but had to say a comment about me never speaking to her - what you don’t review
accounts prior to calling???? Hopefully Aaron’s clean house soon because with this staff I see the store closing soon. No one ever knows anything when you call or are charging and harassing people for furniture that wasn’t even delivered SMH 🤦♀️

The Waterbury location is the most unprofessional location possibly ever! I needed to replace appliances and went to Aaron's. 1st delivery date they were running late and didnt bother to call. We reshceduled and when they were finally delivered they put the wrong hose on the washer and told me they dont provide that type of hose!!! Ummm you dont provide the correct hardware for appliances you are selling? I will never work with Waterbury Aarons again. Unprofessional, not knowledgeable about the products --Worst customer service I have had ... Just not a good way to do business -you lost a customer.--update-- non qualied people trying to explain or dispute what a plumber said!! I hope you go out of business !!

My family and I have been sitting on the floor eating dinner and watching TV in the living room on the floor because Aaron's did not deliver our furniture last Tuesday like they said they would. I filed a complaint and I still have NOT heard from the corporate office. I should have read all of the reviews before patronizing this this place...????

Very unprofessional especially the female manger. I paid for something in full and their employee didn’t do it right the called several months later looking for payment on something that was payed for all because their employees are slack. There are a lot of other reasons why I would never work with them again. Besides the one female manger the employees are nice they just don’t know what they’re doing and aren’t familiar with their own company operation which makes it hard to work with this location. The cause of this review is I opted out of marketing emails and calls and they continue to send me flyer to this day and just called me a few minutes ago about a dollar promo. This is very much illegal especially since it’s been documented twice I don’t want to receive these types of marketing correspondents. Hopefully they get the hint sooner or later they have completely lost me a s a customer. If you guys are looking for a good finance place there’s one in Bridgeport my pricerite and madrags. Approval is guaranteed and they deliver and are easy to work with.

Customer service is mediocre at best. Employees constantly change, no one stays long. Furniture is hit or miss, the Samsung French Door Refrigerator (based on several customers complaints) is trash and doesn't work upon delivery, laptops and computers aren't as fast as they should be. Delivery guys are friendly and do what they're supposed to do (no complaints there)
Overall if you need something and can't afford to pay up front costs and are willing to pay double the price for the item by making payments then I'd say go for it. They do not report to the credit bureau so it does not help your credit score by making payments (alot of people don't realize that)

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Do not do business here. Save yourself the headache.
