I had Alex Masonry redo a patio. He was reasonable, hard working and did an excellent job! They even went way above on the project and cleaned up to where it was cleaner than when they came. You will not go wrong with this company.

Alex is an absolute expert in his field. The quality of his work is top notch. True masonry, no stacking or slacking! He redid my home's front walkway, constructing an entirely new beautiful unique stone wall with bluestone steps up to the front door. It really upgraded the curb appeal. People literally stop their cars to admire it! They also built a gorgeous patio in my backyard extending what had been there previously which I thought was nice and was actually cheesy in comparison! And once again it upgraded the whole vibe and I love the way it came out. Alex is kind and honest, and he and the people who work for him were hardworking and professional. Highly recommend!!

I just had a large patio installed at my home by Alex and his team. I cannot adequately express how thrilled my family and I are with the results. It’s literally the patio we’ve been dreaming of! The work is meticulous, and the entire project was completed precisely and swiftly, without a mess, and without inconvenience to me or my family. Alex’s team is respectful and hardworking. We used Alex Masonry to construct a stair walk which turned out beautifully. Our house is on an unlevel lot with a steep grade from the sidewalk to our front door stoop (about 25 feet). To ease the effort required to get to our existing sidewalk landing, we wanted a stair walk with long, level treads (about four feet). The final product surpassed our expectations! Having contracted with Alex seven years ago to redo our front stoop, we were familiar with his craftsmanship, and asked for a bid on this project. Alex gave us a fair estimate which finalized our decision. He was patient and would consult us every step of the way (no pun intended), especially with any changes. The crew was timely, conscientious of our property, and meticulous. What's more, the project was completed in four days and the crew did a bang-up job matching the stair walk to our existing stoop. We couldn't be more thrilled! We highly recommend Alex Masonry for any hardscape or stone project. They are top-notch, and we will call on them again!

Alex is prompt, professional, & meticulous about his work! And it definitely shows. He and his crew are fast too. We are extremely pleased with the results Alex Masonry did on our pool deck area. Alex not only oversees the project but he works alongside his crew. Alex is very meticulous about each aspect of the process. Our pool patio had to be redone 3 times, & this time proves the adage “Third time is the charm “! We highly recommend Alex Masonry !

Alex just completed my pool Patio and all I can say is I would give a rating of 10 Stars. On two previous patios by two previous contractors this one came out perfect!The other two both ended in a legal dispute the second one is being handled by Ct. Consumer Protection for they can see that a lot of these individuals should not be licensed! Alex was on the job every day,answered all questions,his crew extremely courteous and dedicated to their work! I will testify that this is the company to do your job beyond your expectations right the first time! My only regret is that I listened to the pool contractor on recommending the first guy only to find out later that he received a commission for the recommendation! If you want it done without any regrets go with Alex!

I hired Alex Masonry to remove and rebuild a retaining wall that was leaning. After some discussion, I decided to expand the project to include new bluestone caps and to re-do my cracked concrete walkway with pavers. Alex and his crew did an outstanding job. Alex is extremely knowledgeable, personable and a pleasure to work with. His pricing is very reasonable. He and his team did a great job. Hard workers, with great attention to detail. I would highly recommend Alex Masonry!

I had three masonry contractors come to our house to give us an estimate for putting bluestone around our pool. Alex answered all of our questions and concerns with depth of knowledge and certainty. We immediately felt comfortable hiring Alex Masonry for our (pool) project. It also helped that Alex's estimate was the lowest of the three. The crew came on time each day and worked diligently until the project was completed. Please believe me when I say that the stonework came out better than we had expected. Alex knew exactly what we wanted and produced! We just spent our second summer with the beautiful stone around our pool and could not be any happier. We were so pleased with the work that we convinced them to redo the front steps of our house before they departed. Thank you Alex!

It took a while but once we got a date set for the work everything went smoothly. The old foundation stucco and wire mesh were removed. Then new wire mesh, a coat of concrete and new stucco were applied. This 2 step process hadn't been done originally and was probably the reason the stucco failed. It was a small job but Alex's crew did a fabulous job explaining the steps along the way and also did a great job protecting our stamped concrete driveway. Would definitely hire again if needed and would highly recommend his company for your masonry needs.
