“A few months ago my boyfriend had brought my late grandfather's humidor (wooden, copper lined smokers stand), in horrible condition, to see if anything could be done with it. It had been subjected to the elements and the top warped and split, literally in half. Mr. Carl Manthey was a very honest and told us that he didn't think the original wood could be saved, but he would try and if not, replace it with another piece. Mr. Manthey communicated with us weekly on the progress and sent us pictures of the humidor, through the different steps he was taking to restore it. I don't know how he managed but he saved the top! This man works magic and I HIGHLY recommend.”

I got a nice dresser made of REAL wood, hard to find now for an amazing price. If you want to get on Steve’s good side, bring a really bad cup of black coffee for him.”

“couldn’t be more impressed with Dean Schulefand and Associates! Dean repaired the crystal topper for my Louis XIII Cognac decanter, which had been broken in two places. His craftsmanship was absolutely flawless. The topper looks amazing. He even managed to retain the original serial number, which is essential for keeping it matched to the decanter.
Dean was professional, responsive, and meticulous every step of the way. His communication was clear, his turnaround time was excellent, and the final result exceeded all expectations. True artistry and attention to detail. highly recommended!”
