“You don't appreciate what you have until to lose it. I switched from Webster to People's United because I got a better mortgage rate at People's. I've found that it is very difficult to get customer service to fix anything at People's. 1. Webster allows you to transfer between any account online, whereas you cannot do that with People's. 2. Webster answers their phone within minutes, whereas People's will return your call in 40-60 minutes, so you have to sit by the phone. 3. If you have a problem with Webster, they will fix it the same day instead of making you wait literally weeks. 4. They will give you one overdraft forgiveness a year. 5. They will let use overdraft protection without a fee (just interest) from a line of credit. I have had no or very little problems with them, and the few times I did, they were patient and fixed the issues right away.”
