Jimmy is very unprofessional NEVER on time got there for my APPOINTMENT he had someone in his chair and I had to wait an hour just for him to say he has no time to do my design he’s very rude definitely don’t recommend

i’ll never go back there, the lady and a guy did not know i understood their language, they said a whole bunch of stuff about the color i picked out, how it wont look good with my skin color how it’ll only look good on white skin. i told my mother in SPANISH what they were saying about me, she doesn’t understand spanish well so i told her more about it later, the lady started then getting rough with my nails , throwing my hands around , filling very rudely. the lady soon knew that i understood what she was saying and she got real quiet after i was giving them looks and looking back n forth between them. only reason why it’s 2 stars is bc the nails turned out cute.

I’ve been coming to fancy nails for over four years now I typically always go to Jimmy who’s been kind sweet and always does an amazing job. He really understands nail art he gives you exactly what you’re looking for and always at a very reasonable price. I can’t stress how many times I’ve come to him with an idea and he’s brought it to life or I just sit at his chair and say I have no idea what I want and he always delivers hands-down one of the best new artist in Connecticut.

Lol Jimmy was soooo rude and the cleanliness of the salon was subpar.
I found him on ig so I wasn’t able to read these comments. He’s a great artist, probably one of the best out there but the customer service was garbage. I put up with it as I was a in a desperate situation, I had an important event that same day and no nail tech would book me on such a short notice. I just told myself that his attitude was a reflection of something going on inside of him and I never allowed him to pass that energy on to me. I I never reflected that nasty energy, smiled,
paid and went on my merry way to my event.
Now don’t get me wrong, the nails were absolutely stunning, I got so many compliments, they are extremely beautiful and creative but Jimmy was just soooooo mean I can’t stress that enough. I cannot spend another dime there even though the nails are gorgeous. So many people kept asking me who did them and I couldn’t even recommend this place with a clean conscience. Jimmy if you are reading this you gotta lighten up or leave the service industry because these reviews make it clear that you are scaring the customers away. You’re an awesome artist and your work is incredible but your attitude needs A LOT of work. If you fix that about yourself
you will be unstoppable but if not your talent will go unrecognized due to the negative attitude.
As for the cleanliness, the tables and equipment were dirty and my hands felt kinda itchy the next day ngl.
Overall TERRIBLE experience but pretty nails. ?♀️

this was the worst place ever….got my lashes done, i asked for a picture of pervious work and they couldn’t provide but reassured me they were good and had lots of customers, i dumbly believed them. they were so unsanitary, burned my eyes, glued the lashes to my skin, ripped my lashes out, so on and so forth. then went to a lash tech to get them removed because they were so uncomfortable and were stabbing my eyes and were literally on my eyelid and couldn’t remove them with lash remover, i had to go back and get them removed which then was terrible, burned my eyes and ripped my real lashes out. i asked what they used for lash glue because my lash tech said there’s no way it was real glue for lashes or even clusters, she then showed me a bottle of hair bond glue….for a wig. she put wig glue as lash glue and couldn’t left me blind. never EVER get ur lashes done there.

My mother wanted to meet me at the mall so we could have an outing and an activity together. Boy I didn't know what I was in for. She decided we should get pedicures. As an avid triathlete I thought that's a great idea before the season starts to get my feet tuned up. Oh my goodness this place was amazing. The ladies were absolutely lovely it seemed very affordable and man and I relaxed. If you like your feet I recommend going here

Today was my second appointment with Jimmy. The 1st one (3 weeks ago) was great. Loves my Nails. I went today for a filling and I was VERY DISAPPOINTED!I couldn't get the design I wanted unless I got a full set because the base color of my nails are a pinkish and the design I chose the base was white. OK! I picked a different one he said my nails have to be longer to do the design (they where basically lines like icicles?). Chose 2 different ones..he couldn't do them either. Finally I picked one and he said yes. Not to mention was rude as if I was bothering him. Like I'm getting my nails done for free. Oh!!! and let's not talk about the cuts I have from the electric filer! Last but not least...He charged me $80! More than my 1st visit. (Remember I said I went in for a filling). I will be unfollowing him from Instagram. What's the point if HE DOESNT WANT TO do any of the designs he post. No soon as I left I began looking for a different place and found one. Hopefully I will have a better experience there. Fancy Nails have no clue on how to treat their customers. CUSTOMERS BRING YOU BUSINESS! REMEMBER THAT!!! I will not recommend this place.

Unfortunately this has been the worse place I’ve received nail service from. I got a pedicure that was great. Lady who did my pedicure was so sweet gentle and attentive. Now the guy Jim who did my nails. 0/10 do not recommend. For someone who doesn’t respond to instagram messages( he always posting on instagram to message him for appointments) this man was on his phone none stop. Everything is all day same day use tools. Down to the buffers. My nails came out bumpy/lumpy and I don’t even know who that is possibly when he only literally used one thin Listerine strip layer of acrylic. Jim did not understand the assignment that was asked and he said he can complete of the design I wanted. Every single nail prep step he was checking his phone. There was times when I was eyeing him for like 3 minutes while he sat on his phone. And not a phone call in the phone like texting having the phone in your hand ignoring your customer. And Jim you torn my skin on my ring finger. Jim you get 0 stars and so does the salon and the upkeep on the tools that aren’t CLEANED OR NEW FOR EACH CILENT.

Last time ever going back there, not only is he impatient and reckless with how he does nails. "Jimmy" has had worse progress over the years I have went, should have expected this to happen with how cheap it is, he's made me bleed and had given me the worst nails ever.

Jimmy did these nails and f*cked my sh*t up Fr. Y'all tell me if the inspo looks anything like my nails :) He was rude, impatient, and made me bleed in three different fingers. I don't do reviews but y'all need to know exactly what to expect. These are the worst nails I've ever had in my life I literally started bawling my eyes out in the pedicure chair after he finished. Blocked him on ig right in that pedicure chair.

First time coming here, I got a full acrylic set and it only lasted a week before a few of them popped off. The nails didn’t look as good as my usual nail place, two were crooked and they weren’t as filled in as they should be. The work desk wasn’t very clean and I definitely felt like things were reused from previous customers which makes me uneasy. The woman who did them was very friendly though. Probably won’t come back here.
